He is not wrong the T-14 isnt fully finished and just recently it was finished since the engine is now is working correctly and a lot of the info are just guesses
diffrence is 2A8s have entered mass production T-14s havent…
What do you call mass production?..The first 18 pieces in 2025 for Germany…The T-14 is already much bigger…

the 15 unfinished prototypes dont count there is only 5 finished ones, and at the rate the T-14 is going that thing is gonna be finished too late

Educate yourself there is over 250 orders already. With way more expected to follow on. How many T-14s have been ordered? Even better the first Production Vic’s will come next year. 2A7A1s will come this year. How many APS equipped production Vic’s are in Russian service?

i have checked some sites around here and there they didnt state its “for parades only” they said it was only being shown in parades at the moment since risking it in combat situations rn considering its having problems in productions and there is still issues to be fixed together with being expensive its not going into battle any time soon

It’s true. I live in Russia and I saw this statement from Sergey Chemezov, he said: that Armata is now too expensive to produce and it is easier to make a lot of T-90 than Armata.
T-90M have already been mastered in production and are much easier to produce than Armata. It is possible that soon the T-90M will begin to install an active protection system, information about this has appeared.

yeah normally i checked for more neutral sources other than propagandists one wich are found both in the west and in the east dosent matter where and there is always a bit of truth, and that’s why its a good idea to check on numerous sites from different sides

thats the thing, we are propably closer to the leo 2 arc 3.0 then we are to the T-14, simply because the chassis is pretty well known, same as gun capability etc

yeah that’s the issue with the T-14, its production rate its slooow as heck wich means its less likely that we see it meanwhile stuff like the leopard 2 ARC 3.0 have a more stablished production line wich its just modifying current production lines to make the new armor and the hull together with a relatively simple turret
the thing is, ground updates are way slower progressing then air
you say soon, but at the time ground progresses that still is easily 2 or more years
Specialy germany, sweden, russia (ignoring sweden they dont have mbts left) germany and russia have the 2 strongest archetype mbts, it is way more likely gajin is gonna focus on the lights for us now since we already are dominating in the mbt area, further pushing back or future tanks until competitors might have catched up a bit like m1e3, finished challenger 3 etc etc
