1: resolving the rank V transition via a swiss subtree.
the rank V currently suffers from a severe structural gap. tanks like the M48A2 lack stabilizers, and the early leopard 1 suffers from severe suspension oscillation during braking, making stock grind extremly difficult, and even more when it come to grinding the tree itself, unless using a premium like the turm III to pass through the rank V.
to fix this void in this rank, a swiss subtree should be permantly integrated into the german tree. switzerland maintained an active, independant armor doctrine during this era:
rank V: the panzer 61 and the panzer 68 series would provide stable, uniquely designed mid-tier option
light line: the Piranha wheeled config would offer competitive light armor alternative.
for top tier the panzer 87 (werterhaltung) with titanium armor modules would bridge the Battle Ratting gap properly, culminating in the aforementioned panzer 87-140.
integrating these well-documented swiss vehicles would restore a district gameplay identity to the german tree, wich has otherwise seen its core assets distributed as copy-paste variants across multiple other nations line up.
2:production model differencies : Leopard 2A8 - Leopard 2A8NO
another thing i wanted to ask opinions was about the add of the new leopard 2A8 and the difference between the german one and the norwegian one.
on the recent dev server, the german leopard 2A8 lacks a laser warning system (LWS) and a roof top machine gun. meanwhile, the norwegian one recieve it with already the full combat-ready modifications.
i heard somewhere that it was due that the german model represents an early exhibition prototype create as asymmetrical double standard. soviet series like the T-90M or t-80BVM are consistently intruduced in their definitve, fully modernized combat config rather than their initial factory or parade states. Germany should receive its domestic vehicle with its standard service equipement.
