Just got the swiss Hunter F.58 and was wondering how to play it. Just for reference, l’m a very bad player so l have no clue how to do anything other than basic BFM and air combat. Are there any guides or resources out there about how to play the Hunter? l honestly have no clue and what its strengths and weaknesses are so any tips will be much appreciated. Also does anyone know how to use the Statshark Flight Model calculator? Thanks!
Take a look at Defyn’s video, it’s about 2 years old but still holds strong.
Effectively, it’s a boom and zoomer, if you have played the later 109s it plays like that, you get flares and AIM-9Js which are very good. Launch them at flareless or unaware planes

From your replays, I can say you have a lot more to learn. It’s not just about pulling off the maneuvers mechanically, it’s also about when to do it and when not to do it.
Im with you on that, not many of my air frags are ever from any fancy footings, outside of the occasional cobra in a gripen or typhoon most kills are from accurate leads for gun sprays or from good positioning for a AAM launch. Knowing your aircraft and own strengths is the biggest part of it
