I suspect that they will be adding Falcons to other planes in future updates (or add seperate variants of the planes with Falcons, coz you know they have to make people grind more)
edit: actually it seems only the J35XS and JA 37 would be planes that could carry AIM-4s right now, other planes would definitely require seperate variants (F-4D, F-89H, J35F/J, etc)
Yeah, no clue who made that screen, but the fact that all that aircraft are not spaded hurts my feelings.

please check this suggestion! the current techtree can be better positioned!

I get where you are coming from, but the Su-22 should stay in the same column as the F-84F, that column being the fighter-bomber column.
If anything the Tornado should go into the right column (the bomber column) as it is an interdictor and the MiG-23BN in the same column as the F-84F as the BN is a fighter-bomber.
Where is Hungary low tier air?

true, but hunter mirage f5 f18 are never long range bombers they shouldn’t stay bellow il28. in my suggestion, the tree is clearly separated into figher(g91-hunter—f18),west germany bomber (f84f-alphajet-tornado),east germany bomber(il28-mig23bn-su22),its apparently more reasonable
Interesting.
I would put the Swiss airforce where you have, but in my opinion:
Column 4: Alpha Jet/Su-22s
Column 5: F-84F/MiG-23BN/Tornado
Why? Alpha Jets and Su-22s are strike fighters yes, but they are somehow versatile (Alpha Jet is light and nimble and Su-22s can be played as pure fighters with missiles only; even though they’re definitely not nimble).
After the IL-28, which are F-84F/MiG-23BN/Tornado (I put them there, because they are clearly not made for air to air combat as they are heavy; even if they can surprise distracted foes).
Before the arrival of the Swiss tree, I would have put nothing after the IL-28, that line being “pure bombers”. But the Swiss fighters don’t belong there for sure.
But as you said, the current one is based on planes used by factions.
@KhorneFlakez1337 What do you think? I ask you because you replied to lisavita on this topic
The placement of the Swiss air tree is perfectly fine, it’s in line with the placement of other subtrees. Like the Thai subtree, the Swiss subtree only features jets (and one prop plane), so there is no reason to give them their own columns.
In general the right-most column is the bomber column and when a subtree is added the subtree becomes the right-most column and the bomber column gets shifted to the left. Since the German air TT is pretty packed already and the Swiss air subtree is only adding a handful of planes it makes sense for them to sit in that column.
So C-3604 vs Fokker G.1 be interesting match up lol
agreed, a good suggestion too.i will be grateful if gaijin applied either of them.
im still confused, german air has its own strike aircraft line. why c3604 doesn’t stay in it like fw190f?
I’m honestly not sure why it is designated as a strike plane ingame, there are plenty of Fw 190s and Bf 109s in those two first columns with similar strike capabilities.
Cause it’s already 3 (5 without folders) aircraft high, whereas 2nd column is pretty bare with a huge BR gap.

yeah,it should be a fighter if in fw190 column
then it should be a fighter, and fw190f was once in this column too.it got moved into striker line a few updates ago, so it’s really hard to understand.
How about putting the F84 into column 3 before the G93/R3 ( i say it also falls into the “somewhat versatile” category like the Alpha), the IL 28 and the Mig 23BM into column 4 between the Jabo and the Su-22s (the IL-28 because the russian have it placed there aswell) and the Swiss Sub tree stays in column 5 to go with @KhorneFlakez1337 explanation.
This could also work well and we could have a West/East German strike aircraft line.
Is this the first official sub-tree for one of the big 3? Wonder if the Soviets and US will get anything?
No really, the German tree included Italian planes back in the day before it became a separate nation.

Genuinely the best thing being added in this update, im so happy this plane is here and looks beautiful. Not trying to sound greedy, but does this mean we could also see other variants? Or even the C-35 ?
