There is alot of negativity around Swedish and Finnish, Danish, Norwegian vehicles at the moment, But I know i have some vehicles i have found to be fond of over the years. So i thaught i might as well make a post for people to come in and share their love for their vehicles in the TT And why they like them^^

Sav m/43 (1946)

I like it because it has a lower velocity 105mm With HEAT and decent frontal protection. This means you can lob you chells over ridges and expose a minimal and sometimes none of your upper front plate to the enemy, And if you are fighting on the offensive you can withstand Autocannons like the German 20mm and Soviet 25mm To the front and all HMGs and survive^^ It has decent mobility to get around the map and isnt a huge vehicle since its based of the Strv m/41 (Pz 38T)

I usually bring it to 5.0-6.0 so i can play on the bigger maps and make usage of the 240mm Of pen And just bonk the enemy from behind a ridge or smaller hill and watch as they try to shoot the small part of my roof and if they hit it bounces anyway due to the angle^^

And if i play on the offencive it has a decently short reload if you have Spaded it And have max crew skill on the Reload

Anyways my favorite vehicle is Strv m/31

I like it because it has APDS shell at very low tier which sometimes is over kill

I just rush with my brain off and it some how used to work so i had no specific play style with it

Vehicle(s):
Pvkv m/43 (1946)

Why you like it:
Great sniper tank for long distance ambush and support.

What’s neat about it:
Great zoom combined with good gun depression, allowing to work from behind ridges, and ammo is powerful enough for most tanks it encounters. It’s also decently mobile.

How you usually play it:
Sniping from large distances. Allows (depending on map) to even from quite a bit behind the frontline to support your team very well.

Stay behind ridges to observe and make out targets, then quickly get in position to fire, then back down to hide or relocate…

Best moment you’ve had with it: (optional)
Oh, so many. Matches with 5 or more kills are not unusual.

What’s bad about it:
Not well armored at all, not suited for close quarter battles / urban areas because of its casemate design.

Additional note: I prefer the 1946 variant very much over the 1963 variant: The latter has APDS, yes, but that in no way compensates for the rather steep BR increase from 4.0 to 5.0

Not to mention the Reduced Mobility lol, But yes i agree The Pvkv m/43 (1946) is a blast, Personally i like to rush around and flank with it lol, Its quite speedy and agilie. Gun stability for close distance engagements is decent and the Horisontal gun Traverse range can be quite trolly to players you meet.

With the Strv m/31 You can just reverse into battle lol, The engine tanks any damage and is very well protected for closer engagements. And its reverse rate is great.

So personally i use it as Players use the IS-2

Strv m/41 S-II (With APDS and APHE unlocked)

I quite like the vehicle its Quite capable and can go toe to toe with most vehicles at its BR, and if you use it as a ambush vehicle the Fast reload and capable cannon can deal with armoured targets, It quite mobile and pretty stabile on the move so you can get around and fight some M24s and Shermans if you get on their sides or butts- The APHE has okay filler and deals with Most german vehicles from the sides and you can ammo rack vehicles with it-

Downsides
The cannon is limited in uptiers and Can struggle especially in maps without alot of Cover and flanking routs. So in city maps it can be quite Limited as a vehicle.

L-62 ANTI-II

Why you like it:
It’s a very versatile vehicle that works both as anti-air and as a light tank hunter, and even with the increased BR it remains just as capable when played correctly.

What’s neat about it:
The 40 mm Bofors gun has excellent SAP-HE rounds with good penetration and a strong HE filler, allowing it to deal serious post-penetration damage. Even against heavier armored vehicles, the high fire rate lets you land quick follow-up shots that often finish the target. It’s also capable of one-shotting aircraft with a well-placed hit.

How you usually play it:
I usually play it as a support vehicle, staying slightly behind the frontline. I focus on shooting down aircraft first, but I also take opportunities to flank or ambush light and medium tanks. I rely on positioning, cover, and quick relocations rather than armor, using the fast reload to overwhelm enemies before they can react.

Best moment you’ve had with it: (optional)
Got a game killing 6-8 tanks of the enemy and some about 3-4 Aircraft^^

What’s bad about it:
The armor is Not that great and only protects against small-caliber MG fire. The open-topped turret makes it very vulnerable to artillery, aircraft strafing, and HE shells.

Additional note:
While the BR increase makes mistakes abit more punishing With facing The 75mm M3, the L-62 ANTI-II’s strong SAP-HE ammunition, reliable follow-up shots, and dual-role flexibility ensure it stays competitive even at higher matchmaking levels.

Oh yes, some people seem to think they’re overpowered or something. I’ve had several people mouth off at me in games purely because I play Sweden.

Anyways, there are several fun and unique vehicles to choose from, Strv 74 (it looks goofy and has 15 degrees of gun depression), Bkan (once got 5 or 6 kills within two minutes), the Strv 103s (haven’t played these much at all because they’re a bit too weird), ItPsv Leopard… tough to pick just one. I have unlocked all vehicles up to and including 10.7 apart from the CV 90 Mk. IV which I’m currently working on. The SPIKE missiles seem like fun and I’m looking forward to testing them out in actual gameplay.

What I Personally know is people alwaysss think of the USH-405 or the Strv 103 lol, Or the Strv 122s They will ignore the rest of the Swedish TT lol, And personally I ignore the ppl saying that now-

Anyway, Personally the Ikv 103 Is such an underated vehicle and if ppl used it more often and didnt charge into A brawl battle with it people would def complain about it and the br of the thing would not be 4.0 lol

When it was introduced the Ikv 90 was extremely good, as it was at 7.0 or even 6.7 for a while, and this with laser rangefinder and excellent mobility and more than adequate firepower.

Now at 8.0 it is still ok and fun, but of course not as when it was lower…

Oh, btw, the Pvkv II is also very good, and can be used in the same lineup as the Pvkv m/43!

It has even better pen and reload, but a wee bit less mobility and armor, and the same excellent optics.

Then it has less vertical guidance, but a rotating turret.

So as a result, with both in the lineup, one is excellently suited for many maps and situations: the Pvkv m/43 a bit better suited for rural, the Pkv II better for urban warfare.

Yes, I also find this the best lower tier SPAA of the Swedish tree, especially because of its versatile and powerful 40 mm ammo.

But its ammo supply… = /

Why you like it:
Satisfaction when destroying enemies (feeling of some power when sabot front pens t series)

What’s neat about it:
Bofors, bofors sabots, prox fuse shells, composite armor, 4 or 5 crew and rbs 56 bill with commander sights and 4x or 5x tow2b pen value, they look cool as well

How you usually play it:
Flanking

Best moment you’ve had with it: (optional)
Got nuke with 10.3 cv9040s lineup 20-30 seconds after enemy got nuke but thanks to their overconfidence I came to battlefield first, dropped nuke when enemy nuke carrier was only approaching tank map, won battle while being last in a team

4.0 line-up.

What’s neat about it:
I mean… just look at it. T-34-76 mod.1942 with nuke APHE and stalinium armor with speed. Pz.IV J if you feel like more penetration to deal with KV-1s and Shemans while having not the worst but not the best turret with good vertical angles. Pvkv m/43 (1946) for even more penetration and explosion while having decent mobility and frontal armor, but without a turret (yet still good vertical angles). Pvkv II if you feel like m/43 is not your kind and you need a wobbling turret TD. Ikv 103 if you feel like humiliating heavy tanks and medium tanks of any BR with post-war HEATFS. And don’t get me started with Danish Chaffee, which is pretty much an American M24, that is just so good at its BR the words do not suffice to explain it.

As of CAS, the options are there. B18A is a good bomber overall. 2 13.2 mm HMGs to defend yourself and 1 fixed for some plane snipes, a relatively fine bombload with a selection of beefy larger-calibre Swedish bombs, especially the 600kg one, with bomb sight and additionally nice HEAT rockets if you get to know how to use them on this chunky platform. But I prefer them strike Mosquitos FB Mk. VIs (via Norwegian sub-tree), specifically the ASH variant as it is a tad bit lighter. These have 4x 20mm Hispanos with great ammo count + AP belts and access to Uncle Tom rockets which I enjoy using thanks to beefy warhead and better accuracy when compared to the use of 500lb bombs from bomb bay w/ no sight.

For CAP you can use J26 (effectively a P-51D-20) with a pair of 50kg bombs, but the plane itself is bad when comapred to other P-51s around that BR. Thus J22-B is a better option thanks to a fixed armament and a bit better flight performance, but no suspended armament.

How you usually play it:
First spawn in T-34 or M24 for some quick frags and SP, then spawn a Mosquito or B18A if enough points depending on the option. If destroyed and not enough SP for an aircraft, choose whatever other medium tank or TD for further cleanup of the battlefield. If planes start to annoy me, switch to a figher if enough SP and ground targets are pretty much cooked.

Best moment you’ve had with it: (optional)
Most (if not) all battles with it. Yup, T-34 and M24 evaporate lobbies by themselves while not being domestic tanks, but with how nuclear the Swedish 3.7/4.0 line-up becomes if you include them it is barely defeatable (even though Chinese 3.7/4.0 is also so cooked, but that’s for a different topic). And let’s not forget them premium SAV 20.12.48 (insane 120mm meatball launcher), Sherman III/IV (used to be the best Sherman at the BR) with J26 David (P-51B, better than J26 thanks to less weight and much better suspended armament options) that make this line-up even more insane if you feel like spending $.

What’s bad about it:
No SPAA. Like genuinely. L-62 ANTI II or Lvtdgb m/40 are good TDs and sometimes are good when facing slow or large planes, but around these BRs planes get smaller, faster, more nimble and with sharper teeth to tear you. Hope for something with good RoF, muzzle velocity and targeting speed (like some Finnish milk truck w/ 20 or 23mm autocannons)

Oh boy…BT42, Strv m/41 S-II, Pbv 301, Flakbus, L-62, M24DK, SAV, Sherman lll/IV, Pvkv m/43(1946), Pz.IV, Ikv 103, U-SH 204, Strv 74, Bkan, and T-34-85. Yes. That’s my list.
