Swedish Air Force Division Insignia

While not too common historically or presently in the Swedish Air Force, there have been instances of divisions painting their divisional insignia on their aircraft. I am suggesting the introduction of these divisional insignia into War Thunder as a supplement to the current wing insignias present.

Division Numbering

Current Numbering

The Swedish Air Force division numbering system is very straight-forward; each division has an assigned number comprised of the wing number and then the division number of that division, exempli gratia:
212. Division is the 2nd Division of the 21st Wing.

Past naming

In the past, this was slightly more complicated. The system used was to use the Swedish phonetic alphabet to “codename” each division. The wing number is the index of the letter in the alphabet, and (for whatever reason) a color was assigned to each subordinate division number.
Röd = 1st Division
Blå = 2nd Division
Gul = 3rd Division
Svart = 4th/5th Division

So, taking the same example as we did in the current numbering example:
212. Division would translate to Urban (21st letter) Blå (2nd Division)
