I think all HE has some overpressure capability against open top vehicles. For instance, you can test low caliber HE (Jpn 47 mm HE, aircraft 37 mm HE, etc) against the hull front of a Wolverine and it will kill the crewmen in the front despite them being completely shielded from the blast by sufficiently thick armor. Don’t ask me how that makes sense, but its behavior I’ve observed in the protection analysis.

Fix Round Velocity for 40mm Lvakan 48 (40mm Bofors L/70)
Ammunition choices should look like this:
Lvkv 42 Ammo values should be changed:
Remove slhpgr m/43
Remove slsgr m/36C
The Lvakan 48 would only use these munitions in training for cheaper costs due to less , so having them be the main rounds is innacurate to war thunder.
Add “slsgr m/484”
Round Mass: 0,983kg
Velocity: 980 - 1005~ m/s
HE charge: 0,115kg Hexotonal (RDX)
VEAK 40 Ammo values should be changed:
Remove slhpgr m/43

This would take a huge leap to making the 40mm Bofors enjoyable for sweden as an SPAA platform, and other nations if they fix the Muzzle flash.

SAP / HE make more sense?
Usually SAP and HE are fired against the same targets, with SAP dealing with light armor or cover where HE might fail.
I think u see SAPHE as HE with some AP capabilities, but karnitin75 sees it as AP with some HE capabilities

Well they use it because solid shot is lacking the killing power of APHE and round that causes massive damage inside the tank is just straight better than a round that simply can penetrate armor more efficiently.
Why pen the turret and kill one guy when you can hit the cupola or turret ring and kill the tank in one shot?

I’d agree. The application of the SAP and HE rounds in-game is too distinct for a mixed belt to have any purpose unless Gajin is just strongly against a pure SAP belt.

At least they need to give the VEAK 40 Its APDS-T Belts, Also I Think there was a prototype Of the Lvkv 42 With Double mounted Cannons to improve Hitting Probability against aerial Targets, Is that correct?
There is only the “Lvkv fm/43” with two Lvakan 36 guns, its like a duster. But it did have access to APDS i believe

In generely, sweden lacks good spaa, and your right. For some reason, both the L-62 and LvKv 42 has not Individual AP belt, only mixed
Exactly, specially with its ammunition.
There already is one, it has been PASSED for a while now. It’s ww2 and gaijin hates Sweden, so don’t expect it soon
