At least some Strv 122s have used it, though public sources don’t confirm whether it was standard across the entire fleet. The Strv 122B Int also had a Barracuda kit tailored for hot climates that helped reduce dust kicked up by the tracks. ointres.se
The camouflage makes the tank harder to spot visually and harder to detect with thermal imagers and radar. On a thermal sight, it helps the tank blend into the background by reducing its thermal contrast.
