Sweden currently has a strong lineup of ground vehicles in the 5.0–5.7 range, but lacks competitive aircraft to properly support them in combined battles. This creates a noticeable gap in lineup synergy - players can field capable tanks, yet struggle to bring effective close air support (CAS) or fighter cover at the same Battle Rating.
To improve lineup balance and gameplay variety, Sweden would benefit greatly from at least one dedicated 5.0 → 5.7 aircraft option.
Any ideas?
Currently it jumps from 4.3 / 4.7 → 6.7
So to assist the 5.0 lineup we would need some possible aircraft to fill out the gaps,
Since Finland, Norway and Denmark are all sub-trees of sweden they are options (ㆁωㆁ*)

they J21A-2(1949) and A21A-3(1949). The are SAAB 21 with RATO pods. Would get a great climb rate and great speed, but would retain its abysmally overtiered airframe

The J-21B, a proposed variant of the J-21 with stronger engines and armed with 3 20mm cannons. Probably have a separate fighter and attacker variant like with the rest of the Swedish aircraft.

A bit boring copy-paste maybe, but the Norwegian Spitfire LF Mk IXe could fit in that range. Isreal’s LF Mk IXe in game is at 5.7.

its even worse as attack aircraft than the sweden 4.3 A-21 tho.
Please no more LF Mk Ix spitfires. It would be 5.0 in sim and make flying axis even more frustrating on 4.0-5.0 lobbies.
How about RDAF Spitfire HF Mk IXe? Older Spitfire with a later Merlin engine that’s pretty unique, would mix a 4.7 flight model with a 5.x engine maybe 5.3 BR?

Don’t really see that many other options than the spitfires from Denmark/Norway. Spitfires might not be the best at doing ground strikes, but they can do a bit of it while being a fighter cover for ground battles.
The most original would be the Danish ones since they are HF, which I don’t think we have in game currently. The Danish combination of HF and clipped wings is an option. For the looks though, I would prefer the normal non-clipped wings, even if it makes it less special compared to other spitfires.
