I came back to war thunder just for my game to stutter a lot, despite having a fairly good pc (5070 and a
7 5700x3d). I have tried a lot of things like reinstaling gpu drivers and turning off and on Vsync, switching on low and high settings didnt help either. It didnt help. I dont konw what to do, the game is unplayble.

If you’ve only just installed the game, you need to play it for at least 3-5 games, before gameplay is smooth. Doesn’t matter how powerful your rig is. Happens to everyone. It’s loading a bunch of shaders and other things in the background. Also happens when they update map visuals, you’ll get a few stutters the first time you play it (the updated map) again.
Your PC is more than good for this game, especially if you’re a 1440p enjoyer like me.

Weird choice to waste a 5070 on 1080, but anyway. Has your performance increased since the patch?
nope and looking to upgrade to a 1440p

I even tired to limit my fps to 180 put on lowest settings and dlss4 frame gen x4 and its still was suttering
Do you have HDR enabled ingame or Windows ?
I had HDR disabled ingame but enabled in my windows and i had horrible stuttering ingame despited having 200+ fps and as soon as ive disabled HDR in my windows everything went smooth as butter again.
ive never had HDR enabled.
The game is currently broken.
It started with the Turnip Force update.
Random stuttering, CPU usage tends to drop with it as if the game forget to use the CPU?
