Supercruise discussion and general learning

So discussions with others seem to warrant this topic.
So the purpose of this topic is to speak about supercruise aircraft, and their inherent difference compared to aircraft incapable of supercruise.

My assessment: Aircraft capable of supercruise have lower-drag designs for the the thrust the engine produces.

An argument presented is supercruise means that at altitude, the engines produce more power in dry-thrust than aircraft that cannot supercruise.
So I’ll supply some screenshots of aircraft in-game at 10,000 meters at their designated full dry-thrust cruise speeds, and let the screenshots speak for themselves.
Fuel will be full for aircraft capable of supercruise and those that cannot. Infinite fuel enabled.

Curiosities: Mass for the dry thrust provided.
That ratio compared to the speed attained, probably TAS in kph rather than mach number.

This topic IS NOT about which aircraft are better, but a discussion around the physics that result in supercruise.

Many of these aircraft have faster time to altitude than the supercruise capable aircraft, including and especially Yak-141; the fastest time to altitude aircraft currently with air to air armament attached.
Time to altitude may be something to discuss as well.

I think the F-15’s PW-100-220 have a lower power at higher altitude and at supersonic speeds than they should. If i remember correctly.
