Like I get people were expecting T6 and T7 aviation packs to be discounted and I was too, however it isn’t in Gaijin’s interests to be discounting these packs so frequently as it discourages off-sale purchases. They are a business to make money after all.
Steam is no stranger to shit sales and offerings as well.
Resolving that issue by not letting people buy prems is the worst idea. And they didn’t fix the issue by doing that, newbs still can buy their way to the top tiers, but it’ll be more expensive. And ofc people have the same prem, there’s no choice really. Only a few prems are good. As for me: I wanted to buy t55am, it’s 8.3 - no way near the top tier, is it?

that’s not the point, veteran player also do 1DL, seems most player dont like bad map and when they grind they only play one tank.
this is beyond the point, only a minority of player cares about that. 1dl is not because of the new player. bad map, one tank grinding, uptier, battlepass, and losing battle always trigger 1DL. Veterans also do 1dl for reasons, and the penalty will contributes nothing but fewer players and sales.
Shame there’s no Premium account discount and no SL in-game discounts, would be nice to see these two, 40 euros for half a year of premium is a bit too much

After removal of the Japan and American campaign packs, how else do people will be able to have access to A6M5 Ko and YP-38, and how we will be able to buy both of these campaigns?
Also will XP-38 (From the original American Pack) be back on sale, as well as P-38K?

I didn’t say that this sale “resolves” the issue, nor that it is even designed as a fix for complaints re new players “ruining” top tier battles.
If does indirectly address the problem though, at least in part.
You know as well as I do that if there were new top tier packs on sale now, there’d be a lot more new/inexperienced players than usual buying those vehicles, not know what they are doing and leaving the battle after 1 death.
And then the people complaining now about top tiers not being in this sale, would instead be complaining about top tiers being made too easily available, battles being ruined… etc

Although I understand part of your point, I have to disagree with it.
Yes, allowing rank VI-VII premiums on the summer sale would probably allow less experienced players to buy them, but it would also allow veteran/experienced players that were waiting for an opportunity to get them at a fair price and use them to grind top tiers. So you’ll end with less veteran/experienced players playing top tiers, and less overall players playing it leading to more time waiting in queue and less populated matches.
I don’t complain about top tier premiums cause if they are available for someone like me they should be available to everyone, regardless of their experience, there are good and bad players and not all bad players are new players, and as an ex-PS4 player I’ve always been against any type of exclusivity. Also, they will end on both teams. And, like someone else above already mentioned, not just new/inexperienced players bring one vehicle lineups to the game. I rarely do bring a single vehicle lineup(except on new nations) but I also rarely use more than one vehicle, for very diverse reasons.
As for me, I already own most of the rank I-V premiums in the game, the few that are available for me are the ones I never really cared to own, so without the rank VI-VII premiums I got nothing to get on this sale, sure I could get them at full price but anyone here thinks it’s fair to pay 70€ for a single premium vehicle? Top tier premiums used to cost 30€. Like I said above I’m a ex-PS4 player, owned every other PS console so I’m used to buy games at full price, but I got them cheaper than it costs a single premium vehicle now in War Thunder. That is why I look for sales mostly, I got the money to spend but premium packs are just too expensive in my opinion, but even thinking this I was willing to get a new tank pack(M1 KVT) at full price if I was able to get a couple of rank VI-VII packs on sale, since there aren’t any I didn’t get anything on this sale and already started spending my money elsewhere.
In the end, I get one less reason to keep playing the game and Gaijin loses my money. Can’t see how’s that positive to the game.
I guarantee their revenue is down around 70-80% compared to the last summer sale.

The math really isnt that hard bud. You go from selling discounted packs that cost $30-35 to selling $7.5-20 average for this sale. That’s already an average of a 57% loss. Now take into account how many people didnt spend a dime on this sale, you’re easily at 70% minimum. One guy posted a poll with over 91% votes saying to add rank 6-7 to the sale. See where Im getting at?
Took out the 5 players that probably bought the discount ships lol.

I can only speak for myself, but I was waiting for the summer sale and wanted to buy the Draken,Kfir and A-6 Intruder. In addition, possibly the Birtish F-4J. So for me it is 115-150€ that Gaijin does not get now. And also do not buy packs at full price because I think it is too expensive. For 50€ I would possibly buy here and there a pack if I really want to have the vehicle. That money I will now spend in the Steam Summer Sale.
Find the decision very sad not having Tier 6/7 in the Summer sale, but if they think that it makes sense for economic reasons. Let them do it even if it is not understandable for many.
I was considering to maybe get the Kfir Canard, but I figured I might just as well grind the Nesher, put a talisman on it & have an altogether cheaper solution for grinding. Being on the end of the air tree for quite a few nations I probably won’t ever be getting one of the 70$ planes, the tier 8 tech tree planes just being better. There was a time when I got pretty much every premium as soon as it got announced.
That must really be the most underwhelming sale they ever came up with, they even managed to not generate a single like on the Steam announcement, where Pages of history announcement for July is at 840 likes…
