Summer Custom Camouflage Contest on WT Live

Today we’re kicking off our summer contest for WT Live camouflage creators! You can take part from July 1st until August 15th.

This is the first contest in a new series that will run regularly. This time we’ve got 10 prize places, so newcomers have just as much of a shot as WT Live veterans.

We’ll be paying close attention to entries created for this contest when putting together future custom camouflage Trophies. This is your chance to see your camo in-game and become eligible for the author royalty program.

First time creating a camouflage? Check out our Wiki article where we’ve broken down the whole process, from setting up your tools to publishing on WT Live.

Vehicle List for the First Contest

This season, we’re inviting you to create camouflages for the following vehicles:

We’ve put together great rewards for the top ten authors:

  • 1st place: Any pack from the store
  • 2nd place: A store pack worth up to 70€
  • 3rd place: A store pack worth up to 50€
  • 4th–10th place: 5,000 Golden Eagles

Rules and Terms of Participation

  • PlatformWT Live
  • Theme — historical and semi-historical camouflages.
  • Timeline — the contest starts on July 1st and entry submissions close on August 15th at 20:59 GMT. Results will be published within a week after submissions close.
  • Number of entries — unlimited, but each author can only receive one prize.
  • Hashtag — you must add the tag #summer_camo_contest to your post, otherwise your entry won’t be included in the selection.
  • References — each entry must include historical photos and/or a text description citing the real-world camouflage or source of inspiration. Entries without this won’t be considered.
  • New and reworked entries — camouflages created after the contest start are accepted, as well as older works that have been significantly reworked specifically for the contest.
  • Judging criteria — the judges evaluate texture quality, historical accuracy, and attention to detail. Quality screenshots are a bonus.
  • Community guidelines — posts must comply with the community guidelines. Entries that violate these will not be eligible.
  • Judges — platform moderators and the custom content Trophies curator.

We look forward to seeing your work on WT Live!

I’m a fan of adding player made content into the game, a win for everyone.
Please more Historical and Semi-Historical camos in future too…

None of these links work, they’re all missing the country acronym (e.g. /unit/object_122tm → /unit/cn_object_122tm)

You do realize it’s called the Object 122MT “MC” in game right? Not Object 122TM “MC”?

Typo fixed, thanks

Turán 3 my beloved, whoever fixes the greyish black sideskirts, to be the same colour as the rest of the tank, wins my absolute respect even if he does not win the competition.

Here, you can support, if you are too bothered with the problem.

Should be the FRS1e given it has no skins at all currently. The FRS1 does.

I vote for a NAS809 skin

Vehicle name is correct here. It’s Sea Harrier FRS.1

So the airframe that already has skins is going to get another and the airframe that doesn’t have any isn’t going to get any?

That doesn’t make any sense at all

hmmm time to pick up some tutorial

another big w for console players

As a fellow artist, I can tell you there’s no better canvas than a war machine! with 10 prize slots up for grabs, let’s create some masterpieces! 🚀✨
