Sukhoi Su-57 Felon - Technical details, Analysis and Discussion

You beat me to it.
Apparently this might be the one India goes with, so Su-57 in UK tree.

oh my heart… Su-30 2.0

sorry but other people beat me too lol I was sitting on it for a few hours. But it makes sense for Russia to develop it as they to have a loyal wingman and China is beginning mass production of there twin seat J-20 as its somewhat agreed upon twin sea stealth fighters are a must. USA got what seems to be early bird sickness because there is no twin seat Raptor or F-35 and worse no production of Raptor as it was seen the era of twin seat planes was kind of over in the 90s with some exceptions. (no need for stealth twin seat stealth fighter also a stealth trainer version lol that’s a waste)

Twoseats Su 30 is more beautiful anyway

My fav jet

Can’t wait for everyone to start saying the RCS is even worse now. 🥀

While India may be a UK subtree, the SU-57 will be good, and therefore Britain wont get it

I honestly didn’t thought that weapon bays are this long. Depending on the depth, you can probably fit 3 R-77 missiles into the each one with offset placement

Speaking of this, some info channels claim that this is indeed a targeting pod
I also found some old photos from 2018

From twitter

“Most likely this is the 101KS-N Atoll from UOMZ.”

Yes bro, totally, you can fit a Pod on EVERY pylon.

Little known fact, the Su in Su-57, stands for See yoU, because of how many pods they can carry.

Pod looks mighty similar to the Sniper, i wonder if they got an inspiration from that for the dimensions

Could be. If it is I really hope I don’t see it on the Su-57D. I’ve already seen one person call it the Strike Felon so far, it doesn’t need a similar looking Targeting Pod to the F-15E.

Ew, Muricans and their habit of naming everything with their own customs. Watch people name MiG-35D with the pod a “Strike Fulcrum”

It gets worse.

Same guy who called the 57D a Strike Felon compared Su-35S and Su-30SM2 to F-15C and F-15E.

As if the development is at all similar…

Bruh. You can somewhat compare F-15C and E to Su-27 and Su-34, because originally Su-34 was created as a response for F-15E entering service, but Su-30 was a completely different aircraft with very different tasks in mind

His justification was “Well the SM2 is basically a 35S with two seats and it’s geared for CAS like the 15E.”

What???

I was very tempted to ask if he was shaken as a baby.

Geared for CAS… with what? It literally has the same capabilities as Su-35S, if not worse. Su-30 was created as a multirole aircraft that can do pretty much everything equally decent, as well as some cool features like providing DL information to the fighters in a network. Much better comparison probably would be evolution of F-4C into F-4E in my opinion

I would say F-15C and F-15D, since they should have similar performance, kit, ect, but one has an extra seat.

Well OBVIOUSLY one has two seats and the other has one.
