I accept that it would be acceptable if it were an EVENT vehicle with each star worth at least 45,000 points, and in order to sell it on the gaijin market, the player would need to score 800,000 points or more.
How would this fix anything?
How does that relate to what you’re implying?
You specified your criteria for it being acceptable. That implies issues related to the aircraft’s implementation. I assumed those were the ones we mentioned earlier
This vehicle should be an event because of its weapons, which would bring new R77 and air-to-air or air-to-ground missiles.
This will certainly cause quite a stir in the forum, just as the current BMPT is doing.
Why in the world would it get new weapons when it was literally never armed
And on top of that, how is that a reason to make it event? Making the best weaponry of a tree non-researchable is literally the way of starting an all-out war
I’d really like to hear from the Suggestion Moderation team why this suggestion was approved
pissing off EAP fans
Pissing off everyone who want a realistic game and no double standards.
I don’t even want the EAP in the game but the addition of the Su-47 would open way too many doors I don’t want open.
At a certain point devs will open these doors anyway. Does not matter if we like it or not.
Sure, but I’d rather it happen later than sooner. There’s way enough content to add already, we don’t need to fill the game with fictional planes
Agree, but adding experimental planes, tanks, or whatever after they’ve already missed their moment, just for the sake of saying “it’s in the game,” feels pretty pointless - the MiG-25 or the F-117 being good examples, even if they aren’t fictional.
Fair I guess. I’m still against it because it’s not a combat aircraft and was never armed, but I guess your point makes sense
Yeah, they opened it already for ships and will open it also more and for planes and tanks. More project vehicals will came for sure. Especially in a timeframe of five years. What would be the alternative, countless F16, Mig29 or Su27 sub varaints.
This year we had the flying pancake, next year the F16 XL and Su47 will follow. Hopefully the Mig 1.42 also.
Hasn’t stopped Gaijin before. The F-5C has a CM dispenser it never had, and the Yak-141 actually has a radar, IRST it never had and also weapons it never carried, it had the hardpoints but nothing was wired and it only carried mockups for flight tests. Also has a gun it never had.
The XF5U is flying when it never did IRL. The TOG II has an armour package it was never fitted with, only designed to have.
To Gaijin: It doesn’t matter if it actually carried them, just that it was demonstrated to have some. I remember coming across some images of the Su-47 with mockup missiles mounted in either the weapon’s bays or on wing pylons.
This is what events like the Winter event is made for or the Dreams Come True event like for the TOG II, which is to take an unfinished prototype and place it in the game in a “combat ready” status. Are there other vehicles that could be added instead? Sure.
Is this suggestion terrible? Yeah. But knowing Gaijin I am already way past complaining about it or caring. When it comes I’ll get it.
and the Yak-141 actually has a radar
Just to interject real quick, one of the prototypes did in fact have a radar, there’s footage of it’s installation.
and it’s SPO-15 shouldn’t be on there, iirc none of the prototypes had it fitted.
It looks like N010 in the video, what radar do you think it should have?
i mean its n010, but not base n010, I think n010-f
