As in 1 plane shares its datalink information with the other, first introduced in wide scale with the mig 25 where a plane can either guide in a freindlys missile and see what it sees allowing for a squadron to communicate better and allow 2 planes to defend while the other guides it in. Basically another plane can guide your missile in and/or can see what another plane sees on their radar scope

Gonna need a source for that seeing as this helmet isnt even claimed to be able to do that, and I’ve never seen any pictures of Su-57’s with HMD’s. All picks have this old helmet that’s been in use for decades, with the HMCS removed likely for photo-op reasons or due to no need in having an HMCS when not doing combat tests.

They will have no doubt offered it to India again with full autonomy to customise the airframe including weapon systems.

India have money and are stalling on procuring new airframes. They operate the largest fleet of Su-30 that have been internally upgraded. They also have rights to manufacture them.
Russia need to stand behind their product like Lockheed, Boeing, Dassault and other do. They need customers to bring down the cost per unit. The manages US keeps the F-35 cost per unit bellow the cost of a Typhoon!
If you could sell the platform to India they would buy 50+ the injection of cash to Sukhoi to allow them to develop the programme further and to explore the Su-75 Checkmate and the S-70 okhotnik
True. I just think maybe they will think better of it knowing that India’s self maintained jets fell out of the sky at the rate of around 4 per year. That will damage the credit if SU57 becomes one in the future. I know about the funding issue, cause same applied to why Su30 MKK/MKIs were a thing in the first place but they probably need to consider the Rafale purchase as well.

I don’t think it will come that fast. Not until 2030 likely when Indian Su57s form any sort of fighting capability. China generally would hate that happening but meanwhile India saying Rafales are better than J-20…
