This is how Su-35 is supposed to use its airbrake compared to the Su-27 (in the back). Not sure if Su-34 uses it this way too.
This CGI show SU-57 has 4 or 6 R-73 missiles inside the missile bays, probably a mistake lol

Su-35 removed the dorsal airbrake to save weight, so it uses its control surfaces instead.
Yeah, I’m just thinking if we could just press the airbrake and have it work like this, so we wouldn’t have to maneuver manually to reduce speed like we do now in the game.
Oh nice, another plane that wont have airbrake in WT once its added.

Yeah, hopefully not the Rafale situation.
Rafale does pretty much the same, minus rudder.
I don’t mind if gajin decompression battle rating to 14.0 and add R-73M on Su-27SM sometime next year (uploaded image later)

I’m not sure if I can post something related to another game here, but it’s about su27 too…
man…i wish the flanker was like this in wt :( i just want a good fm, If we had this su27 i could deal and accept the r77 being horrible and the radar being bad, but the combination of everything being bad/average is just sad

Meh, just do an few S turns and you already loose enough energy and speed for a safe landing. Ever more so on Sukhois and it flight model

DCS Su-27 still isn’t accurate, but it is much better than what we have right now.
Keep in mind that other planes such as F-15A and F-16A outright overperform in War Thunder as well, which exacerbates the issue with the Flankers.

I don’t know how incorrect the flanker in dcs is, but it’s insane to see in this video that there are several times that he isn’t even using afterburner, try doing some duel with the flanker in WT without using afterburner to see what happens, immediately you start falling from the sky
Su-34 doesn’t have any airbrake method in game, at least when engaging the airbrake function (typically “H” on the keyboard".
I love how the 10G wing rip on the F-16’s gets “fixed within a patch”, and the F-15A on dev wing rips so hard that it releases with no wing rip, and the community just has to complain, not even mention why or cite documentation.
Meanwhile we apparently have multiple hard proofs that the Su-27’s FM is incorrectly modelled, and we’re at over a year since it’s introduction now.
