Please keep it on topic, enough with JF-17
Is the SPO-15 accurate enough on directions to notch with? It certainly doesn’t feel like it
Not really, no
So Su27 must multipath to survive fox3s generally speaking?
Most fox-3 you can see coming and put it generally off left or right side, roll airplane towards it and chaff it can be distracted by the chaff.
At least, until they make them harder to notch as they should be. It takes a lot of chaff to do this already though.
With chaff it is.
bvr amraams are hidden until I am put on the 10 second challenge with the spo-15
If the AMRAAM is invisible as it goes active you can probably just turn fully cold and out-run it with ease
When i play with the su-27 i always put myself on a defensive position, try to flank the map while switching to your irst so you won’t ping on the enemy’s RWR, once you feel ur in a good position you turn it on again to launch your 27ERs against those who are unaware, although being SARH it’s still very powerful and depending on the range it’s a guaranteed kill even if the guy tries to notch.
wastes a load of time in games and puts me out of position unfortunately
J-10B leaked too, but we don’t have him
Nice, now they should add MAW
Wow, that’s actually Nice. Soviet tree is becoming interesting again.
MAW doesnt exist on Su-34
I wish i could test the fab 3000 umpk but i don’t have the fullback, having to research stuff in the devserver is nuts they should just unlock everything for the players.
?
The R27ER was the only missile that could somewhat ignore multipathing, while being the strongest missile in the game in every other aspect.
That’s not entirely true, back then multipath was always the same for every missile, what happens is that there’s a trick which consists of abusing the datalink system and removing the lock when the missile comes closer to the target, using the missile camera to help you with that. But very few players know that trick now and back then even fewer, it wasn’t widely used.
