Don’t get too excited it’s still coming with same weaponry and same FM it will suck but maybe just maybe slightly less

If it just has a better radar, then I’ll be able to live for now. I’ve been spoiled by how my F-15’s radar contacts aren’t 8 seconds out of date.
It have MiG-29SMT radar but you have to meet with enemy that have everything better than yours. Maybe it will have thrust vectoring but speed bleeding is horrible and dogfights in top tier is rare thing

Since the start. SM variant is based on indian MKI which had TVC, India got their MKI in maybe 2002 if i remember correctly and Russia just used it as based to modifie it for their air force.

No.
MiG-29SMT uses N010 Zhuk, Su-30SM uses N011M Bars.
Zhuk is Mechanical, Bars is PESA
It’d be a better comparison to say that the Su-30SM will get the Su-34 radar, but even then, the Bars radar should be better than the ground-attack focused V004.
Su-30SM should have a radar comparable to the Rafale irrc
