Do you know under which tree version the SU-34 will fall under, will it come after the SM3 or will it come after the SU-24 branch?
Sukhoi Su-27/30/33/35/37 Flanker series & Su-34 Fullback - History, Design, Performance & Dissection
After the Su-24 for sure.
Ahh that means I have to research that tree branch, I focused too much on the mig-29, su-27 and su-25 branches, now I have to focus on the old mig-27 branch far right one.
You should know that the Su-27 also doesn’t perform all that well in real matches as well. You practically stopped playing it after the first week of the patch because I was slamming you with AMRAAMs as soon as you took off.
This is a lie.
You have played a total of 1 game in the J-10A at top tier in the past month.
Cuz i havent been playing much over the last month after i got burnt out from grinding out the soviets out to the Su-27SM and the Chinese out to the J-10A. ALSO, Space Marine II came out and Ive been having a lot of fun playing that.
Not sure if you know how to count btw, but theres 5 BLUFOR jets on that page and 9 REDFOR ones, qnd more REDFOR games than BLUFOR ones…
Wrong again lmao. I stopped playing the Su-27 because
- My friends started playing other games a lot, such as EFT
- The J-10A got announced and at the time I was expecting it to be a multirole with a good TGP (it was tremendously disapointing in that regards when it actually came to the live server, as its almoat entirely air to air focused, which I find boring as hell.
I intend to retuen to the Su-27SM to grind out the Su-34, seeing as the J-10A had been a tremendous disapointment to me atm due to the lack of variety in its gameplay.
As for why im currently playing the F-16C, since you seem to wanna know my life story, Ive been neglecting my US air tree and need to finish grinding the F-15C, A-10C, F-111F, and afterwards the F-15E being added.
OH! And as an additional note, the reason my F-16C is my “most played” aircraft in sim is because I play it often in GSB, so the games are shorter and i get more in, something I dont really do much with other aircrafts at all.
Excuses rolling in, none valid as to why they shouldn’t realistically model all FM’s including the F-16’s.
You have played the J-10A for a total of 1 game in this latest patch.
All of the other jets that you have played are not at top tier. Nobody is complaining about red side being completely imbalanced at lower tiers.
In the same time frame you have played the F-16C in 2 games. So your statement is misleading because you do not primarily play red side lately. In fact I don’t think myself or anyone has seen you play Su-27SM since the first few weeks after it first came out.
To put things bluntly…you are fundamentally misinformed about why red teams typically lose top tier matches. Red team players focus on PvP because they are routinely outnumbered 2:1 during the majority of the game.
Pretty much any player that is able to perform halfway decently on the red side is able to switch to blue side and then win the vast majority of their games. In order for red side to win games at top tier…they need to frag the horde of blue side players and then basically complete all of their objectives from the start of the game to the end of it. It doesn’t even matter if blue side is bombing because a lot of blue side objectives are easier to do or will autocomplete themselves.
I wonder what side is going to win this game? One side has 80% more players than the other.
I know this is slightly off topic for the thread…but I think there needs to be some clarity added to how top tier Air Sim matches usually go and why red side is sometimes competitive.
First off…this is the start of a pretty typical sim match with non-organized teams. At any one point during the match the Blue side will have dramatically more players. At the 30 minute mark this game is already 3 vs 8. I also have more kills than the entire red team combined and my team as a 3000 point lead in tickets.
This is the only currently active lobby in top tier right now by the way. It is 1 vs 5 at the time I am writing this. I cannot actually rejoin this lobby right now because I left to write this comment. In order for me to play top tier…I have to sit and wait until the teams even out…and every other person that wants to play USA top tier is in the exact same situation.
So how come red team players able to get higher K/Ds than blue team players? It’s actually pretty simple…there are more blue targets to shoot at during any given match. And red team players are more likely to be engaged in different sim communities and more likely to be squadded together. The game is borderline unplayable for most people if they are not working in a squad with a voice channel against what amounts to hordes of blue players that are waiting to queue.
In order to be successful on red team at top tier…you have to join the game early and actually be able to kill blue side players fast enough that the teams do not become too imbalanced. And winning the game means that you normally have to stick to it for the full duration of 2 hours.
And it’s not that Red team is unwilling to do PvE…it’s simply that the planes are not as good at PvP or PvE…and with team imbalance they are unable to. Even when they are able to…you basically have to complete every single objective as Red team in order to stand a chance of winning…while also dealing with having less players for PvP.
This is basically the effort that it takes to win as Red side; a coordinated team and the ability to dedicate yourself to winning the match from the start of the game. You have to basically keep the enemy from bombing your points, killing your players, and capture all of the air points, win all of the ground battles, and even then you might still lose.
And here is the kicker…if those same people that are forming dedicated Red squads to play the game switch to Blue side…they will win practically every time. But they can’t even attempt to switch to Blue side because there just isn’t room available most of the time. Or the conclusion of the game is that Red side gets locked to their airfields and quits.
Ok? Can you continue any thoughts that were supposed to happen there?
Yes please, 1 s300 every 1000m on every map
Except… I literally do… The fact I haven’t played much in the last month doesn’t change the fact REDFOR is the nation ive primarily played when I have been playing… Its not like there’s been some huge change in the meta over the last month either lmao.
I also have more games played as REDFOR top tier (MiG-29SMT, Su-27, Su-27SM, J-10A, and the odd J-8F match when a buddy of mine want to make me struggle) than I do in BLUFOR jets (F-16C and F-15A).
I dont think many people stalk my profile, only Squishface and you afaik as of yet, so it would be weird if they had seen me play it at all quite frankly, just like its weird your picking this hill to die on… Its not exactly like 9 sim games is a short amount of time either, since i have a tendency to stay in my matches till the end 95% of the time, so ~5h if each of those matches were only 30min long, more likely closer to 10h+.
So you AGREE that REDFOR players dont play the objective then? xD
As for “why” they do it, the enemy team having more players does not obligate you to focus on pvp. It does make it more likely you’re intercepted on your way to an objective, but doesnt stop you from getting to objectives outright, particularly when much of BLUFOR is doing their objective.
This isnt the “gotcha” you think it is lol. If REDFOR players are routinely outnumbered 2:1 (which is true) the fact they perform better in air to air/PvP speaks even more to the fact the actual discrepancy in aircraft and weapon performance in a match are being accounted for by player skill, which confirms what I said lmao.
Soooo you ALSO agree REDFOR players need to complete their objectives lmao.
Fact of the matter is, like I said, REDFOR tends to perform just fine in the air to air role. More than fine actually. Their aircrafts ARE worse (never said they werent), but not to the point that they arent able to outperform the average BLUFOR player in air to air combat. Player counts definitly play a role in REDFORs poor winrate, as well, but even if you have more players, you dont win matches if your team isnt doing the objectives nor preventing the enemies from doing theres. Matches are won or lost on tickets, and tickets are lost through the enemy completing objectives.
Anyways, this is wildly off topic at this point.
Kh-38L/T, Grom, R-27, R-77.
Bad 5sec 8 bar scan pattern
Anyone have a pic of the su34 air to air loadouts?
AA kringe
So, did they give it an rwr
Yes
How many missiles can the Su-34 carry?
I believe it gets 6 KH38
Irl or ingame?
They showed in the live:
4x r73s, 6x r77s;
6 grom-1 rockets;
6 kh-38
There are more stuff but the new loadout tab is (imo) absolute dogcrap interface-wise and the head of the devs are in front of those so i couldn’t get a nice print of it
