Sukhoi Su-27/30/33/35/37 Flanker series & Su-34 Fullback - History, Design, Performance & Dissection

This won’t solve the problem, because the developer couldn’t even enter the correct geometric data.

Yes well done that is correct. But even the engines of the F-15E with all that thrust don’t even allow it to super cruise. The EJ200 engines must have a massive increase in thrust while in flight to achieve Mach 1.5 without reheat and a full air to air loadout which is 10 missiles.

Complete nonsense, EF can’t make a super cruise
The EJ-2000 is not that powerful. At the RD-33MK level for the MiG-29K, however, the mig cannot go on a super cruise

Source? Considering theres tons of sources claiming it can?

Where are these many sources?

Here is one of many sources straight from eurojet

Also some data on climb. 35k ft to Mach 1.5

This is why we need contemporaries to the F-15.
The game has been like this since the F-15 MSIP II was added.

It was one of the requirements and one of the factors that make the Typhoon a 4+ Aircraft

Nonsense

Lmao Eurojet is the manufacturer its primary source and you claiming nonsense your a 🤡

However, 4+ planes cannot go on a super cruise without afterburner

Do you even know what the definition of super cruise is?! If you use after burner you aren’t super cruising

Supercruise is sustained supersonic flight of a supersonic aircraft without using afterburner.

If you are using the afterburner you are not supercruising

I’m not going to pretend to understand how it works and how the Typhoon, Rafale and Gripen E can super cruise

I find it funny he claimed primary source data as nonsense and then proceeded to say 4+ jets can’t super cruise without using burner 😂 obviously didn’t know what super cruising is

These are complicated topics now, it’s easy to get confused.

I know what a super cruise is.And the 4th generation aircraft cannot use it aerodynamically are not designed for this

Okay bud we have many primary sources saying the typhoon can super cruise go ahead and dismiss it all you want because you seem to be coping so hard about it. Or are you smarter than the designers and engineers of the typhoon by claiming it shouldn’t be capable of super cruising 😂

The EF2000 has been tested once, almost by accident, in “supercruise” mode - flying at supersonic speed, with the engine at full dry power (without afterburner). On the occasion in question, a prototype aircraft, carrying more than 50% fuel and six dummy missiles, was taken to Mach 1.4 at 40,000ft (12,200m) with the afterburners engaged. The pilot eased back the throttle, cutting the afterburners, and the aircraft continued at more than Mach 1.
That is, the plane accelerated with the help of afterburner

And for how long has this speed been maintained? 1 min 5min?

F-15E with just full internal fuel and 8 AIM-120s has an initial TWR of 1.428:1.
I highly doubt Typhoon gets a TWR of 1.4:1 with full internal fuel and 8 AMRAAMs, but time will tell depending on thrust curves that Gaijin finds.

This is not a super cruise, but complete nonsense. So any aircraft can accelerate with afterburner, and then turn it off and keep supersonic speed for a while
