1v1 dogfights other planes might be better, but the EFT is an absolute rocket with that thrust to weight, it very likely has the best BVR related flight performance of all 4th gen fighters
Well yeah. It has the highest thrust-to-weight ratio, even superior to the F-15E.
Typhoon is also using canards that are coupled far from the main wing, which would provide it with better energy retention characteristics compared to the other delta-canards, although at the cost of absolute pull. AMK upgrade with leading-edge root extensions near the main wing was trialed and it made quite a big difference apparently in high-AOA flight.
The EFT will dominate in the rate fight if anything goes past the once circle(EFT still excels in the one circle though) it will be absolute curtains for the enemy aircraft if they allow a two circle to happen. It can maintain high speeds will manoeuvring maintaining 9G pulls.
I am aware, the devs made the right call
Delta is only good at ITR
Thrust 16020kgf/16000 kg=1.0 I don’t see that she is very tall
Eurofighter will most likely perform like the Gripen before it was “nerfed” where it doesn’t pull a lot of AoA and just rates around everything.
Gripen energy retention is still implausibly high at medium to high speeds. Mirage 2000 has similar issues but just doesn’t turn well at high speeds. Eurofighter will probably be added in a state that is absolutely broken.
In the meantime…the only scenario that the Su-27 can complete a 360 degree turn in 13 seconds like is demonstrated in airshows…is by using 1 minute of fuel and no weapons. And in order to get it…you have to start the turn at 11.5G when at maximum the plane in the airshow is only pulling 9G at most.
That’s its static thrust. There’s a reason it can Mach 1.5 super cruise with a full missile load. It’s in flight thrust is insane.
You also got its thrust wrong it’s 18325 kgf not 16020 kgf
It’s like a zero, you shouldn’t DF a zero or you’ll die, especially if you’re carrying a p47.
Everything in flight has a growing thrust EF is not the leader here
Loss of thrust when installed in an airplane.Otherwise, the MiG-29 would have a T/W 1.2
It is amazing that the game let me join this match. 11 vs 4 is completely fair and normal.
My only deaths are from AF AA and a teamkill.
There will be a KF-21 soon (it will have more)…According to the technical specification (a multi-purpose fighter of the 4.5 generation with limited stealth capabilities, superior to both the Dassault Rafale and the Eurofighter Typhoon)…
I immediately foresee possible questions about conditional generations of fighters…Now the British call the Typhoon the 4th generation fighter, but recently it was different…

In normal stable aircraft yes, in unstable aircraft with a ton of moving surfaces the actual aerodynamic implementation of a chosen layout and center of mass position determine aircraft behavior more than the layout chosen itself. Plus EFT, unlike the gripen, has a lot of thrust
Gripen FM is bullshit, I don’t even know how some people think it’s underperforming lol.
Su-27 keeps failing visual tests but i’ve run out of charts to try to test the thing… the fact that the original Su-27 manual is not available is a pain in the ass since polars would solve all the issues
And still the canard delta is worse in STR than the traditional scheme
This won’t solve the problem, because the developer couldn’t even enter the correct geometric data.
Yes well done that is correct. But even the engines of the F-15E with all that thrust don’t even allow it to super cruise. The EJ200 engines must have a massive increase in thrust while in flight to achieve Mach 1.5 without reheat and a full air to air loadout which is 10 missiles.
Complete nonsense, EF can’t make a super cruise
The EJ-2000 is not that powerful. At the RD-33MK level for the MiG-29K, however, the mig cannot go on a super cruise
Source? Considering theres tons of sources claiming it can?
