Yeah TASS made up a statement just for your pleasure … anyways pointless to argue .
урок русского языка:
красным выделены цитаты слов гендиректора ОАК
синим выделена приписка от ТАСС, в которой они написали чущь
Yeah and ? Is that the only Su-30SM2 in Russia or what is your argument ?
According to your source, a batch of production aircraft was delivered in 2023, while a first prototype in AL-41 was in the production stage in 2024.
I have already pointed out where you are mistaken. You have conflated a direct quote from the director with some nonsensical claims added by the TASS article’s editor.
There is nothing in the quote that describes the characteristics of the aircraft.
Well your russian comprehention doesn’t seem as strong as you make it up to be :
The article states nowhere that it was delievered in 2023. It only states that the SM2 received Su-35 engine and radar :
So we go back to square one , either TASS is making that info up , or they are quoting information they received from OAK director . It doesn’t need to be a direct/on record statement .
Oh hell nah, we gonna back when is F-15E vs Su-27SM pre buff

Naturally, a news outlet with no connection to military hardware might well publish nonsense they’ve picked up from the internet.
Three years have already passed, yet neither the UAC nor Irkut has ever made any announcements regarding serial-production units equipped with the AL-41 engine - whereas other prototypes (such as the Su-57D or the Su-57 with a new engine) are almost immediately presented to the public.
Bro unironically accused a native speaker of bad language comprehension.
you got the answer rigth there. TASS is just a news agency with zero ties to any manufacturer. If this was stated by UAC, for example, it would be quite substantial.
Native speaker means jack sh … reading comprehension is a whole other debate.
Considering the article states nowhere that such configuration was delivered in 2023, i rightfully challenge his reading comprehension skill especially given the article states ‘‘according to Slyusar such configuration will be delivered next year’’ so everything pans out .
TASS is not any press agency , it’s state press agency. Again under which criteria there needs to be a tie between a state press agency and a manufacturer ( ironically there is a tie between TASS and OAK since both are state owned ) for the reporting to be relevant only you know !
uses a translator, which distorts the text, and claims that I don’t understand what I’ve read
And? It doesn’t automatically mean that every state agency has full access to technical details. While press agency that belongs to a manufacturer clearly has a better degree of knowledge than a general media soutce even if state owned.
Please enlighten me which part of the text got distorted …
По словам Слюсаря, на предприятии уже приступили к работе над самолетами, которые будут поставлены в следующем году.
I have already told you several times: there is not a single word about the aircraft’s specifications in the Слюсарь quotes.
there’s not a word here about any configuration
It just says here that they have started production of new airframes for future deliveries
My dude you literally stated that the article claims delivery in 2023 …
TASS writes word for word : ‘‘According to Slyusar, the company has already started work on the aircraft, which will be delivered next year’’.
Make it make sense instead of trying to grasp at dead straws … I told you , in journalism there are direct/verbatim quotes and there is conveying information, a journalist can convey information without it necessarily being a verbatim quote yet both can be part of the same storyline.
You have two information on that article story line :
- Delivery of the new Su-30SM2 expected for 2024 ( expected being the key word ) .
- Integration of Su-35 engine and radar .
You have decided that a state owned media outlet is making up one of those two informations for reasons only you can explain .
See the full analysis of the article.
The part in red is the first quote from Слюсарь, regarding the aircraft that have already been delivered
Green - Слюсарь says that this is the final delivery of aircraft for this year, and they are already preparing to deliver aircraft next year.
Blue - TASS provides a general description of these aircraft, without citing any sources, so that the average news reader can at least understand that they are planes, rather than, say, tanks
Just because TASS reported something, it doesn’t mean it’s actually true. For instance, the news editor at the Belarusian Ministry of Defense once copied an article from the internet about the AL-41 being used in the Su-30.
Specifications or new aircraft configurations are not included in any of the quote blocks.
Let me remind you of what I said earlier:
Since 2021, various news outlets - including state-run media - have been reporting on the potential integration of the AL-41 into the Su-30. The UAC, however, has remained silent regarding what would seem to be an obvious upgrade, even as it has unveiled a host of genuinely new and impressive developments over that same period.
They aren’t necessarily making things up; the editor might simply lack expertise on the subject or be mistaken.
A similar incident occurred with the official website of the Belarusian Ministry of Defense, where articles from the internet were simply copied over - and that’s where the mention of the AL-41 appeared as well
As I’ve already mentioned, the only source indicating that the AL-41 is even being planned for the Su-30 is a 2024 report from the Военной Приёмки (I’m not sure how to translate that term into English without it sounding silly). It’s possible that a flying testbed is out there somewhere, intended for the future integration of the AL-41
Is it somewhere written that all 117S nozzles should/do bare that marking ? Im geniunly asking.
For instance 117S here has no markings NPO Saturn 117S | latest version of AL-37FU engine, called 1… | Flickr
Combat Approved it’s what the show is called in English by TV Zvezda .
