MICA-IR, IRIS-T, AAM-5 don’t???
It means high gimbal limits, it’s able to see far off to the side either direction.
IRIS-T doesn’t, and AAM-5 doesn’t appear to have it, MICA-IR does though.

Mica ir does but i always forget about it cause of its different size bracket. Iris t, aam 5 and asraam dont irrc

I thought it was more common on newer Fox-2s.
the inlet drag is overcome by the possibily minutes long fire duration, the combustion chamber uses the same space as the booster stage after it has been depleted. while it’s true the thrust and efficiency of the ramjet cycle reduces with altitude, that doesn’t tell the full picture of what happens at altitude

that is from an agard paper regarding air breathing missiles, the screenshots specifically are about a missile very similar in design to the meteor

That paper also says that their simulated missile (which as you say is very similar to Meteor) would have a maximum launch range of 220 km in the front aspect, and 80 km the rear aspect. Which is likely an underestimation for Meteor (these numbers assume a turn-down ratio of 10.0, while Meteor is “over 10” - a ratio leads to better range). The paper also assumes the propellant doesn’t use boron and notes that using boron would lead to a significant performance improvement (Meteor uses boron).
So range is certainly not a problem for Meteor.
