Sukhoi Su-27/30/33/35/37 Flanker series & Su-34 Fullback - History, Design, Performance & Dissection (Part 3)

Oof, unfortunate.

the constant need to move aircraft around inevitably leads to more incidents, we’ll get more information probably dont take this as facts yet.

may i say it is quite funny to read it like that

i mean su35 is definitely in the works, whether its 1, 2, 3 or however many patches in the future you don’t know

obviously it isn’t, it stands for switch user. J-16 just runs on Linux

I have an easy prediction.

They added the J-16 now so that they can add the Su-35 next update and gatekeep it from china tree for a few updates.

J-16 players on dev push me towards radical anti-China behavior

Well now J-16 is looking quite good, at least FM wise.

As I expected with the series 3 (no not the BMW) addition it can outpace the SM2.

The radar complaints are understandable but at the same time there’s nothing to base those claims on, so.

It has a GNSS missile, with gimbals like Irbis it could literally be worse than Rafale at its peak

If J-16 had 2 more PL-12’s, fixed pull/autopilot on them, and a 200 dgree gimbal it would be an outstanding jet.

with its new engines its “only” about SM2 level realistically fm wise

anything radar related is cope

they arent

its not even like there is any source saying it that it has side looking arrays or a gimbaled AESA

You made 11 errors in the word broken

Some points seem to be in favor of the J-16, like acceleration.

Now, I’m not talking about a huge difference as if you compared it with the Eurofighter, but it’s still nice.

Suffers, give F5 engines and 240 degree radar.
