Sukhoi Su-27/30/33/35/37 Flanker series & Su-34 Fullback - History, Design, Performance & Dissection (Part 3)

They were all destroyed by inside job.

If this is true - sad, but expected. Reminds me of Venezuela

News reports, and looking at aircraft losses clearly shows SEAD and DEAD happened. There might be some video out there but you can check yourself

Oops looks like original poster was talking about an air duel between the two planes and I have misread. I thought it was a strike mission, of course I’d pick the F-35 because it’s ecm is greater than the Su-35’s

The lazy one is that you don’t even have something to prove your view of things

“The UK’s chief of defense staff said Israeli F-35s”

As if the F35 in the frontline were UK f35 or used by UK pilots.

You think other countries don’t evaluate the combat performance of other countries equipment? Especially when UK uses the F-35 themselves and were very involved in its development

Who lead false claim that never happened.

Usa general said in a Presse a Ukraine F16 shot down a su35 weeks ago.

Reality turned and it was a patriot system.

F-35 is probably one of the main programs where the different member countries would have a better handle on what their counterparts were doing / how well or not they were being employed. Combine that with the US F-35s being employed elsewhere - the past two years have probably given them a lot of real-world data against real-world targets to sift through.

As above UK is the only T1 partner for F-35 so has a greater access than most.

Recently it was confirmed to be F-16

it was a f16, it did use help of a patriot system for the ambush

the one that happened in 2025 was by a patriot

Sure

It’s not this time only.

Apparently Su-33 was planned to use R-77 (RVV-AE)

Dunno where this is from, Found it on the R-77 Forum

Edit:

Apparently this is the Source.

We think is marketing lie.

I’m pretty sure it’s just planned, not implemented.

Even as of 2016 Sukhoi didn’t list R-77 as being compatible with Su-33
