Might be limited artificially due to not having long range weapon systems but unlike before it can actually detect targets once they remove the hard capping.
Previously even on HPRF mode you could only track enemies up to 80km.

IRSTs that have over 30km range rn

he give you position of everyone in sim mode.
Su30sm2 doesnt even have irbis irl, if gaijin is giving it n035 because mkk had it, it should be n035e
Dont tell me, tell it to Gaijin.
Irl SM2 doesn’t have AL-41F as well.
Well as of now, couple of airframes are getting modified to get them (only al41) in Akhtubinsk, even rostec said that in 2025
I find it funny eurofighters radar range against xm2 rcs is same as rafale
Surely there is no difference between 1550~ and 850~ TRMs, right gaijin?
Most likely testbeds as actually squadrons still doesnt have access to it.
I don’t think they are testbeds, but we will probably see some information closer to summer
Of course they are not dedicated test bed airframes.
What i meant is that they will most likely gonna use those airframes to test actual performance of AL-41F on 30SM’s which makes them kinda test bed in basic logic.
IIRC they already tested AL-41F-1S performance on Su-30 testbed, so there is probably no real reason to do so
Still would be good enough
We just need to convince UAC to slap Irbis on SM2 airframe on the factory, take a photo of it and disassemble it back.
less cooking in terms of modelling pl12a
they fixed the Su-30SM(2) stock loadouts
they arent asymetrical anymore

Shame, i loved the cursed look (as well the fact that my loadouts just lost 2 missiles and i had to redo them)
well you probably have to redo them again now
Surprisingly not
