Sukhoi Su-27/30/33/35/37 Flanker series & Su-34 Fullback - History, Design, Performance & Dissection (Part 2)

6 of them will be fun

best loadout gonna be 2 73 on wingtips, 2 modernized etz, 4 r37s, and 6 r77s

when they are actually modelled: 6 R-37’s 4 R-77’s and ECM pods(?)

I think taking 4 r77s will be more valuable than 2 r37s between the intakes

id rather take the double middle rack r77, cant solely live on r37m

imo 2x modern r73 wingtips (or jammers if it comes)
2x r77 (2nd outermost pylon) (if jammers come then r73)
2x r77 (2nd inner wing pylon)
2x R-37m (inner wing pylon)
2x R-37m (under intakes)
4x r77 (between intakes)

if the new su35 gets the new r77m, it will be worth it

Actually didn’t think about the double racks, yeah makes a hell of a loadout

does anyone know what is the gimbal limit of r37m ? i think its ±180* for the r77-1.

I really hope whenever they add the 35S they don’t mess up the FM…

I’m afraid that FM wise it will be a heavy copy n paste but with big thrust

copy n paste of previous boats, to be clear

I mean it’s not like it’s a nearly complete redesign of the Su-27, featuring bigger control surfaces, wings, newer materials, modern FBW, and stronger engines…

But yeah, I should probably just expect an Su-27SM that weights as much as an Su-30.

Gaijin when it comes to modeling new FM’s

REAL.

On another note, I love that Su-35S picture so much. It’s literally been my phone background for like 2 years.

Yep, and once again, like the Su-30’s, the dark scheme looks amazing on it

I personally like the light blue scheme a bit more
