While we started can I get new HMD that is delevoped for 57 and it’s LDIRCM for my SM2 plox.
On a serious note, J15 is quite a good addition, few countermeasures yeah, but aesa and possibly a good performing PL-12A on an impressive TWR airframe is gonna be very competitive

I hope HMD unironically gonna be delivered to Su-35 and Su-30SM fleet. it would be a huge help for our pilots. LDIRCM probably gonna be too difficult to cram withouth changing internal layout
Beside jokes I also think LDIRCM will require significant rework on fuselage at some point while integrating new HMD will be much easier.
It will be a strong second line fighter most likely. Just loiter at the back line and touch people with your 10 PL-12A. You simply don’t have a gimbal and countermeasures for more agressive play.
They will most likely gonna increase it by using available slots on fusalege and claim that its technically possible or they’re gonna switch with small CM’s so they can double the amount.
I think it can be a well made 14.7, sucks that you have to stay aways from everything, and that IR missiles are 5x the threat for it.

On Su-33 it’s not that simple. Entire back section of the fuselage was reworked due to the landing hook. But switching to small calibre CMs might be possible even if it’s a huge stretch. We already have a decent amount “hypothetical stuff” so i am not really against it

Well guys since J-15T recieved WS-10B engines (which I’m totally fine with it) can we at least get our extra CM’s?
Personally I like to see 100+ CM on my screen.
