Imo it’s just too minuscule of an upgrade to even justify a folder. Extra range on radar? Laughable, 14 countermeasures? Absolute lmao, some jets get more upgrades trough a modification.

Isn’t the entire point of the folder is to move things that just bloat up the grind for little reason elsewhere…
Like, personally I think a folder is perfect for this scenario since 30SM2 can be foldered under SM (due to not being the biggest of improvements if it was actually accurate to real life) so if someone wanted to get it or wanted to just get 35S, either party wouldn’t be hindered.

Yes, but foldered vehicles should at least have some differences. There is substantial difference between F-104A and F-104C in terms of payload, or difference between F-16A and F-16ADF. difference between SM and SM2 is non-existent
