Honestly, just making Su-35S out of composites would be more than enough. Maybe put folding wings. I wonder how much of a help TVC can give for a carrier launch platform. Su-33 got canards and bigger wings with giant flaps to be able to take off from a carrier, would it be needed with sheer power of AL-41F-1S and TVC?

The PL-12 and PL-8 are definitely spotted on them so definitely capable, but I guess most people took PL-12 and R-73 combo. Su30MK2 is very ambiguous about what actually changed, since not that much seemingly changed. R-77-1 could be an option since the radar is in theory compatible but Gaijin ain’t gonna do it, and IDK if China has any for them, only ever seen Su-35S use them.
Also I don’t know but was this here from the start? Never realised it had more thrust than the Su27SM.
