Can anyone explain me the advanced soviet technology which allows r27er to perfectly home on the for few seconds after losing lock (losing lock and then the hms mode, hence the radar isnt illuminating)

Thing is r27er can still home on to a turning target
With perfect accuracy for few seconds, i dont think iog should be that perfect
Irl the second host radar drops lock missile loses tracking.
Also irl iog is meant for capturing target before radar lock and not necessarily keeping track of target after loss of radar lock (because irl the second radar loses lock missile is trashed even if target is recaptured)

Another thing, is that these missiles were mostly limited because of how garbage the original su-27s/mig-29 radars.
Like there were plans for it to guide using tws for shooting multiple at once but that wasn’t realised until pesa radars were used.
Tis a shame that the production su-27 radar was forced to be so dogwater from the original planned one
