I just remembered this one conversation I had a few years ago when I first reached Top Tier (around Danger Zone.)
I was talking about how much I loved the Tomcat since it reminded me of a Su-27, with the big intakes, lifting body, and huge rudders, and my friend, (who’s a massive fan of the F-15s) said, and I quote.
“I don’t like Russian planes because they’re designed to look cool over being effective”
“What?”
“Yeah the MiG-29 and Su-27 suck, people just glaze them because they look cool.”

Aside from having analog RWR (which is upgraded with newer models) they are quite nice.
My favorite models are MiG-29M Prototype 156 and SU-37 of course.
this same guy thought the F-15A should be beating the Su-27S in BVR even with Fox-1s.
he was in the same group of people who thought the MiG-29G should get R-77s.
Speaking of Su-37 where is my sky Terminator Gaijin???

Uhhh wut? I mean granted F-15A’s radar and RWR was more enhanced than Su27S but with only Fox-1 that just wet dream.
