It can be faster just limit it’s tracking add the self destruct feature like Sparrows after 3-5 seconds and stop letting Russians abuse TRACK MEM launches with it.
R-27 doesn’t have that.

Also I find it so funny that you’re talking about Russian bias as it relates to the Flankers. Whose flight performance has been gimped since release.
I mean hell, Gaijin was using data from the T-10 prototype, and refused to buff the Flanker for nearly a year, and it’s still incorrect.

Imo the base 27 is fine at 13.0, the Su-33 could be one to argue about.

thats why i like j-11a. for just 1 br step up, instead of only r27ers, you also get r-77s which is super nice (still bring 1 27er anywyas for good measure). all of the 13.3 arh flankers imo are kinda OP lol, they make grinding the event so easy.

Yeah, I have no doubt on that, didn’t try them myself, but if I can have a good time in the 29SMT, then those flankers are definitely better.

is it worth stock grinding out for the event? i have the 11b spaded, but really do not feel like going through no-chaff hell for another plane and i’m still working on the 30sm2

Gaijin balancing moment. For some reason they take not the vehciles of the same br into consideration, but the vehicles of the same platform. J-11A is worse than 27SM? Put it to 13.3, who cares if it is too powerful, it is weaker than 13.7 version so it must be lower.
imo if youre fine with notcing in spo-15, then its an amazing plane. But, if spo-15 is too hard to use for notching, then i just recommend using the 11b or using the premium flankres at that same br.

hmm i’ll try it out and if it goes badly just go back to other stuff. been using the event as an excuse to spade all of these 13.7+ planes by farming premiums so i’ll have to get around to it eventually

With how the Su-27 FM kinda wrecks the MiG-29 FM, it’s arguable the 13.3 ARH flankers are undertiered. Everyone else with ARH at 13.0 or 13.3 has a terrible FM (tornado F.3L/F-4F KWS, etc) or really bad missiles (derby lmao) or some other limitation that keeps them away from the zone of no fun and even less balance that is the current top tech.
yeah I still think Su-34 shouldn’t be fighting rafale and su-30SM2 spam
We need the MICA J-band seeker buff to make sure that SPO-15LM mobiles are annihilated.

If 14.7 was a thing and the 34 stayed at 13.7, it would be viable, right now it’s just too close to the 14.3 bracket I agree.
I’d be fine with the 27SM, F-2A, J-10A etc. moving up to 14.0 with the decompression, the Su34 has a very good kit, but it gets an abysmal FM to compete with the mentioned above jets.
