also why is it limited to like 90km in tws mode (similar to N010) ?. V004 radar on the su34 has better range/scan zones compared to the N035

and for the second picture, it might be a Su30SM simulator and not for the Su30SM2
second one is Su-30SM2 during radar tuning. Simulator one actually has similar HUD to the one on the first photo.
Yeah it’s bit strange, considering the N035 is supposed to be a massive improvement over the N011M but it can still only detect up to 90km in normal TWS mode
in that picture you can see that it isnt the thales hud
but rather the same one as in the su35

Yes, that’s what I was saying in the first place. The first photo of Su-30SM2 (Blue 79) shows the same HUD as on the test bench. While the SM2 on radar tuning has a different one

I still kinda play it like the SM, one or two missiles at the beginning of the match and then I try get good launches from TWS HDN.
The thing is that the SM2 gets to 1800/1900kmh so easily that the R-77’s begin to teleport to the enemy location haha, they are so fast.

Well, i forgor how to play SM, or notch and position in general. Didn’t had a reason to play top tier for quite a while, mostly played 11.0-12.0 bracket
