Yeah Super hornet on paper brings more, but it’s just not really worth using compared to already existing options from what I’ve heard, and SM2 brings more smaller changes instead of a couple larger ones

Either way I think 30SM2 really only could’ve came with 18E, nothing really else to add it in with.
SM2s just use AL-31FPs, same as 30SMs.
Yeah they’re still FPs, but I thought in that MOD documentary they mentioned uprated engines.
