hope so as well, but gaijin was extremely lazy with SM2 model. Even X-ray still used N011M model for N035, despite there being a plenty of photos of Irbis to make a model out of it. Which only makes the theory about SM2 being last minute decision addition even more true

Almost like it shouldn’t be even added, SM2 brings NOTHING of value in its “real life” configuration for War Thunder since detection range is meaningless and R-37M is not in the game yet. Literally 450k of RP and more than a million of SL for 14 flares

Eh I think it was right for SM2 to come with F/A-18E, both are kind of nothing burger fighters (if 30SM2 was properly modeled at least)
