I was already out of missiles and low on fuel; that match had been a big one, both the enemy team and mine had played very well.
As far as I remember, the replay isn’t from today; I had 4 minutes of fuel left, I usually take 35 minutes on all the flankers, meaning I was much lighter.

su30sm2 dosent have maws the most notable and easiest to spot naw sensor on the su35 is the one in front of the cockpit next to the irst

The SM2 has upgraded RWR right? I read somewhere that it got the RWR from the Su-35, but that source also said it got Ibris and AL-41, so I’m not sure.
Irbis, no, or maybe it’s planned for the future, but it has a better N011M. The AL41, besides what they say they’ll implement as it works on the platform, and it might have R37M, we’ll probably have it with improved AL41 bars and a better RWR, I think.
IRL I know it has R-37M, And I know it has an improved Bars and Uprated AL-31FPs. But I’m just interested in the RWR it has now.

So, at best (and if gaijin is willing to go into a bit of fiction) we are getting Irbis, AL-41F1S and 28 more flares.
At worst - 28 more flares, more range on radar (useless) and a bit more thrust.
A bug report for Al-41s were accepted, but the SM2 never used Irbis nor was it planned to.
So it looks like we’re getting:
AL-41s, 28 more flares, and (should) get an upgraded Bars.
It’ pretty good after all, much better thrust will help with this fatty

It’ll be a welcome upgrade. It’ll also ensure Russia stays having the best Su-30 this update.
It would be nice to have MAW and LWS but ye more powerfull engines are more tempting

I’ve always found those to be kind of annoying, but I can see why people like them.
And yeah, but then it’ll be a tradeoff between the MKM (MAWS, Al-31) and the SM2 (No MAWS, Al-41)
