They could add it just because of technical feasibility as al41f1s was already installed on a test bed for su30sm2.
I wouldn’t be surprised for them to add it in with al41f1s just cause of technical readability which imo is dumb but it is what it is.
They can even give it irbis because it’s technically compatible with it as su-30mk used irbis when testing it. If they use technical feasibility as a basis then almost all flankers can get anything lol.
Just look at the nonsense that is the kh38

Hmm, I just realized. If we to get the “actually good” 30SM2 with planned AL-41 or even just upgraded radar (just range) - people gonna cry louder then ever because it not just “modern” jet, but it will be literally of this very 2025 jet (and whenever they actually get Su-35 engines)

irbis is not compatible with su-30sm radome, sm and mk are absolutely different airframes

No I know. I’m saying gaijin would still add it just cause they want to. After all similar stuff could be said about a lot of the ordinance it gets. ATP as I’ve always said gaijin does what they wanna do
i hope they just add better rwr, al-41 and hud of su-35, that’s all it needs. And x2 range for bars

I just want maws but su-30sm2 doesn’t have it, so it’s looking like I’m just gonna grind out the Japanese one

I will be on the seventh heaven from happines if they would be removed.
Qatari and Omani Eurofighters have been flying with the CAPTOR-E (ECRS Mk0) for a good while now, if the argument is compatability then you’re incorrect
find me evidence of ecrs on german ef, find me evidence on double pylons of either ef or su-30sm/27sm, find me evidence on export of kh-38 etc. Project of sm2 consists of adding al-41 for maximum unification with su-35, it doesn’t matter if they already have it or just gonna have next year, stop using this nonsense argument

For me, winning something is already a victory. Gaijin said he’s far from ready, just a copy, so we’ll probably see him with AL41, maybe? And with N011M?
