Nah, this thing exists since forever. At one point it was even a model that you see in a hangar when you look at a different plane and Su-30 is in one of the crew slots

They probably took this model and renamed it SM2 or something. Because it definitely was around for quite some time.

Did that model in the back of the hangar have the long antenna under the nose tho? It for sure had the Khibiny but the antenna? not sure
Well, hard to say at this point. But it could be that exact model modified with new antenna and named SM2 for future work. But man getting SM2 over Su-35 gonna be hilarious, I couldn’t even predict something like this
Unless they pull the funny and give it engines that it doesn’t have (yet) yea, pointless addition, they need to folder that thing too…
Every single AESA Euromid isn’t foldered so fat chance. Maybe gaijin is in touch with IAPO and waits for those rumoured SM2s with new engines that supposed to come either at the end of December or as the first batch of 2026

I don’t know how stuff that appears in the files works, but maybe there’s a chance they have it planned to add in some of the next dev server updates.
That doesn’t change the fact that an SM2 now cuts off the chances of a Su-35 in march
hopefully we get it this update. ig it will have a slightly upgraded radar , rwr , maybe R37M ? but its too soon for r37m.
Anything TT is fine at this point, just give something to grind for… MK2 was premium, MiG-25 is event, haven’t had a jet to grind since march
