I don’t even remember who it was, i said, because you’re our favorite leaker. I only remember seeing people talking about it on Discord and YouTube, so I guessed it was you.
It reminded me of the Su-30SM’s TVC, why did Gaijin add that to the plane? If vectoring at least helped you with something, it’s practically useless and was even made worse before the end of the DEV server. When you try to use your plane, it becomes a brick stopped in the air. Something that should help you use your R73 only makes it worse; it’s unstable, your plane feels strange, and the controls are as stiff as a B17.
Here’s a match where I did poorly and allowed this Gripen to reach my 6-hour mark. As you can see, I initially used TVC to try and overshoot. When I launched the second R73, I tried to keep pointing my nose at it, and the plane simply froze. It just froze in mid-air. I deactivated the TVC and reactivated it to regain control.
My skill problem + the gaijin’s terrible spot system of this game even though my crew is ace and level 75, and terrible modeling TVC and trash R60 with steroids (R73)

at this close range you better use the aoa off ,point, kill. su30sm dont do good in circle this slow, might as just abuse tvc . just do it at high alt

realistically speaking Su-35 would be at best mediocre if the base flankers arent fixed, it doesn thave that much extra thrust for a huge change, might end up heavier than su30sm due to the RAM and the khibny pods, and gives even a bigger (Which is worse) wing loading.
TVC is borderline useless, flankers just straight up stall pulling anything more than 45 aoa and takes a eternity to recover it unlike irl. Not to mention the utter useless control model of current TVC which would do anything but point towards what you want to aim, they would just randomly flatspin. (even eurofighters have a bad cobra button modelled tbh)

I mean, the thrust increase is pretty substantial compared to the Su30sm, and that while being 200kg heavier (empty weight).
The su30sm rn is probably the best competitor of the rafale due to the radar and missile load, a faster version of it (Su35) will close the gap a lil more, the missile bus playstyle will feel better with the improvements the Su35 brings.
The FM will still be poor, but as the Eurofighter proves, the FM isn’t everything, having a big loadout + ESA to endure the fight longer is better.
i was talking in respect to FM only, ARB wise Su-35 will still be goated, but FM would still be mid. I wish gaijin gives both F-15 and Su-27 some love because both are sad as hell. They are nowhere near rafale or eurofighter. My only hope is Su-27M 710, might be able to keep up a bit with something like rafale? not better but ofc but somewhat competitive.
Oh yeah, in a general aspect the FM is sad no doubt on that. I like dueling in custom lobbies and the only flanker I manage to have fun with is the 27sm, but even that one is nowhere near other stuff like the delta canards.
I have no idea if some more reports about the performance can be made, from what I understand, bug reporters gave up trying.

I do think the Su-35M will probably be joint best jet in game especially if it gets an accurate Radar of what it can do IRL. Meta will always be Rafale but the next jets F-15GE with buffs or F-15EX and Su-35M

Having tested all 3 I think it’s pretty safe to say, Su30 with nice radar and missiles, Euro with very nice FM performance overall.
And then the Rafale, best of both worlds in wt.
Indeed it does. You don’t get a lot of kills though, but you are pretty much safe from harm most of the time.
It’s very much a support fighter in RB I haven’t played much SIM. An upgraded Radar and 2 more 120s would bring it into real contention but sadly unless Turkey show us a mad double pylon Meteor loadout we have no evidence to suggest more than 6 120s.
