you will be the one that comes in here crying once the su35 is added because of the radar

and even funnier the Su-27 and Su-30 arent even close to being as manouverable as they are IRL, same goes for the F-15
https://community.gaijin.net/issues/p/warthunder/i/NS4q2qoLZddN

And Typhoon is also being held back.
The Radar if modelled correctly will allow a Su-35 to sit in the notch and with Gaijins simplistic notching
Will make it strong. Rafale with the MICA combo will still be king and I can only hope Gaijin buff Typhoon to realistic levels

You’re baiting, right?

I doubt they add su-35 without captor e eurofighter which also does same thing. Both will be strong

Irbis will be better due to higher angle, meaning you can reduce the closure rate of the incoming missile even further by going slightly cold

Also for sure gaijin won’t model AESA radars on Su-35S

bc the Su35 dosent have an AESA

Eh imo it’s better to stay in the notch than to go beyond it which both can do. Going beyond the notch means you can be targeted

L-band aesa radars on wings edges

It has aesa on its wings

great and there isnt anything concrete on what they are actually doing with them

they could simply using those arrays as part of the EW suite irl, which wont matter for WT

No not at all, Radar is still questionable
Flight performance is still not right.
It’s now slower to accelerate than Rafale and marginally faster than the F-15E.
It looses engine power at high altitudes when performing evasive turns.
It’s too heavy
It’s missing a little thrust

You need to remember in terms of Raw kinematics Typhoon dines at the F-22s table. Not the F-15Es.

AFAIK euro is overperforming in acceleration at high altitude, over performing time to climb, underperforming/overperforming sustained turn rate spending on speed/altitude

Mig-29 missing at least 1000kgf of thrust

Mig-29 being unable to pull 9Gs below 24° of AoA ingame with engines idle at 1km alt

Spoiler

“LL” under the graph stands for “Leerlauf” basically meaning the engines are on idle,
“Bkl.” stands for “Bremsklappen” meaning airbreak, solid line is without the airbreak, the dashed one with it
the rest should be self explanetory

there are primary sources for the Mig-29 FM which gaijin is ignoring, sources for the production aircraft and not some requirments that need to be intrepreted

ye it’s overperforming

It’s okey in game terms

Mica is only strong because of an artificial electronic resistance (I say this based on the way the game is designed and balanced)

idk why they felt the need to give it an electronic advantage since its a short to medium range missile compared to the AIM-120, R-77-1 etc. what about the other missiles that are only usable at close and medium range like R-darte, Derby and base R-77 model?

Which Gaijin wont remove, or change.
And imrpoved models of AMRAAM have been incredibly disappointing including SLAMRAAMs C7
And R-77-1 is a noticeable upgrade over R-77.

I do not see new ARHM for a long time which will continue to make MICA the best missile in game.
