Which one? Su27sm for example can exceed it in the deck
Su27s barely matches it
(Talking about 1540)
Aight
Too lazy to pull out the actual flight manual, but here’s a chart of flankers till 2004 and their characteristics
As you can see all have top speed of 1400 u less specified otherwise
Gaijoob trying to make Flanker accurate challenge (Impossible)
This thing has being discuss a lot of time here. The 1400 its not the Rip speed. But a parament so the Airframe its not stress. People has already comment how Mig23 could even go to match 2.6 but the manual said 2.4…
Yeah because the airframe starts to be torn apart due to heat and stress lol. The 1400 near the ground is structural as given by the manual.
I mean, most western planes are speed limited for airframe or engine life as well and “could” go faster, but the manuals said not to, and thats what gaijin works with as the rip speed in most cases. Its not like this is some unique feature of russian aircrafts lmao. The Su-27’s are clear outliers in that regard as @kizvy pointed out already.
For example, F-14’s have been claimed to have flown beyond M2.4+ irl, rip speed in manual is M2.25 iirc. EFT engines are derated from 69/95kN down to 60/90kN to increase engine service life, etc… If you dig around in jet performance, you tend to find that they can do a lot more than they are typically allowed to do, at the cost of potential damage or increased wear.
Su-34 is especially egregious because its max speed is only 1100 kph near the ground and Mach 1.5 at altitude lol
The reason why gaijin doesn’t care because export su-34e/su-32 !=- su-34 domestic which makes no sense because it’s speed and not avionics/weaponry or something
Yeah idk what gaijins up to with this stuff, like we can clearly see them breaking their own rules and they sit there pretending they arent doing it. I guess some ppl still fall for it though so its good enough for gaijin cuz it keeps us fighting amongst each other
Yeah after I did a deep dive into Russian avionics/systems I was gonna make a bunch of bug reports just to realize most of them already exist and are just sitting there on the site
Gaijin only fixes bug reports to make their game conform to what they like to see, the sooner ppl realize that, the better. That’s why its super easy to tell which vehicles they like and which they hate.
they hate the Mig-29 with how butchered the FM is and its completly inaccurate thrust curve and they dont even want to give it its historical loadout
and the overall FM of the Su-27 isnt to great either, you want to do a cobra?
here have a wingstall
Again with this ****. SU-34 “E”
Its this Su-34 in game?
Idk how you think the actual flight performance of the aircraft will differ to where the domestic model is somehow 350 kph faster on the deck.
You don’t know either.
Russia could be willing to reduce the Fly time of the Frame. And Export variant have lower speed so they don’t need to care about that kind of stuff. You’re also assuming these frame are the same.
If that was the case. Why the Su-35 that were destined for Egypt are siting on airfield and not deliver to the VVS. From what you said they should be the same.
Another example. Its engine lifespan. For what some Indian said. Every time their AL-31PF has problems or run of lifespan. Russian just send then a new one.
On other hands Rafale Rip Speed should be around 1380km/h. And it break at 1520. Way above the 1.05. So idk from were the “Only Flanker have that”.
Cause different avionics and iff systems. I’m not comparing avionics. I am comparing the actual top speed of the darn thing
No one else has airframes given the real world values when the manual states otherwise.
British manuals used to downgrade the G tolerances and structural limits of the airframes.
They didn’t want pilots exceeding them.
When did I say that. In my original post I literally gave the jf17 as another example
Yea so you’re assuming that its easy to build fully new Su-35s frame just to put the avionics that VVS Su-35s use. Instead of just swap what its diff from these Su-35 sitting on an airfield. If the frame are the same it should be easy swap.
Flawless logic right there.
