the original post was about how 120s were “king for a long time” when reality it was a small blip before they were ahistorically gutted into trash, maybe we should gut all russian vehicles because the BMPT is currently too good

Except it wasn’t like that? AMRAAM remained not trash since the first addition to the game and until the addition of Rafale, and it is half a year. 6 months is not a “small blip”.

People forget that platforms make the most of it. Rafale dominated due to the platform itself was able to bolster alot of capability, is the same at the time the high flying eagles(F15Cs) were dominating with amraams as not much jets were good at high alts.(Su27sm got buffs after rafale was introduced negating any competition prior hand) Mirages with Micas performed better at low alts, and close dogfights. Whilst F15Cs could easily keep their distance fight from afar. Even with the nerfs, platforms mattered more on what remained meta. Aim120s were fine till they werent… back then most didnt care… all of a sudden after a year of domination from rafaliure, it arrived as a major issue, even tho almost all missiles are some what underperforming in their respective category. Dont think gaijin will visit a single missile alone, as long as the way they are right is intended…

Sitcom watcher memory level. Don’t remember what happened “past season” so whatever goes right now is how it always was.
Gaijin will act according to “player performace” as per usual. And because AIM-120 is widespread between all sorts of platforms - there won’t be any changes to it most likely. Unless gaijin will rework loadouts of like 75% of Fox-3 slingers in the game. Even if half of the US mains population will hop into F-15E and throw game after game to tank its statistics - it will get br decrease at best, not armament changes
