U can’t talk logic to some of those people, they don’t understand it and can’t be bothered to think. Make contact with some of the more senior staff and/or reliable ones who knows about this better. Maybe DM them and make new bug report.
Its not the first time they’ve done odd things like this either.
Thr PS-05/A Raven from the Gripen is a direct successor to the Blue Vixen radar, and in-game is basicly just a copy paste with some HMD modes, while the CAPTOR-M, also a successor to the BV and to some degree a successor of the PS-05/A, yet in-game, both the BV and PS-05/A have max scan area’s of 684°² while the CAPTOR-M has a paltry 504°²…
Im not sure whats been going on with the radar devs the last few updates, but they’ve been screwing things up pretty bad.

How is the captor-m “in some ways” a successor to the gripen radar?
Both are derived from the Blue Vixen
iirc, it uses some parts from it along with implementing things learned during the development of the PS-05/A. Could be misremembering tho.
I have the Feeling the irst on the flanker is just way to fast so extremely hard to find and lock things compared to the MiG-23
If it’s much faster it would probably be completely useless in its current state

Hey guys, the Su-27 wing root is supposed to be flush, right? Or is this gap supposed to be here? I remember someone reported this was a bug for the Su-30SM, but is is meant to be here on the other Flankers?

thats because (from my understanding) there are two camps in sukhoi that have slightly different opinions
one wants canards, the other one dosent, for example
