I did think maybe 6 I have only seen 4 in images between the engines and 2 on the wings.
Mix of 10 very potent missiles. PL-17 would be the R-37M equivalent.

Which is valid, not in war thunder but makes a good point we know China and Russia are behind on Western power plants while they can produce engines that have excellent performance rebuild and maintenance windows are more frequent.

they are not anymore, that was certainly true during the soviet times and the 90’s to early 2k’s but they caught up, the Al-31FN series 5 has 5/6k hours mtbo iirc and produces as much thrust as the AL-41F1S of the Su-35S

IRL it can shoot down fighters. But to be fair, in WT the planes have a maximum overload of 10-16G
It has ok Gs just doesn’t hit most of the time. With this type of range, u are given like minutes to dodge, unless it is an EWC or AEWC aircraft you will easily get away, just that it forces u off the mission.

That’s their account. The hit rate is ultra low, but since quite a lot are fired quite a lot of jets were shot down. Most of the time it just forces defensive manoeuvres which stops u from getting things done.
