the actual problem (when you are not in a BVR fight) is the excessive drag and missing lift
more thrust will not fix that
In terms of getting up to speed, it should help, even if I doubt it would match the other 14.0 acceleration. As for the dogfight bit, it wouldn’t fix the problem totally, but I guess it could help a bit by making you stand more on your engines.

more lift would also help you in BVR, it will help you turn into the notch and same if the drag gets reduced, less drag will mean that you accelerate faster

That too, but to be honest with you I have no idea by how much it is underperforming in that regard, so I can’t really give my opinion
the R-27EA would defenetly bridge the gap to the 120C-5 as the ER and 120C-5 have nearly equal range, the EA being an active ER would match very well against the 120C-5, the sad thing is that gaijin would rather add the R-27EA which was a mock up only vaporware missile rather than fix the R-77, R-77-1 drag along with the Su-27, 27SM, 33 and 30SM flight models (same goes for the MiG-29’s)
Chinese J-16 is probably the most advanced capable Flanker in the world right now in terms of payload, Radar and power plants.
And they have some wild ideas like this official model showing 22 missile payload

It being in service is irrelevant here. If jet is capable and/or Devs consider it necessary (as compensation for poor performance, like the double racks on Su-27SM or R-27ER on Soviet MiG-29)
Personally, would prefer to just have ECM with explicit (game wise) purpose of tracking BVR imbalances (plus the introduction of new long range SAMs might push it a bit more too)
Edit: Although Snail can put a funny one and just add R-27P. Good luck notching anti-rad, lmao. But alas, we know their attitude towards ARMs

Should be pretty much the same TWR as Su30s if not better. Pre 41 s obviously, in theory it is lighter but IDK.

They are at a similar level to Russia who also suffer from poor engine quality and reliability.
As for payloads it was an official model from Shenyang.
In game PL-15 will be one of the best missiles in game, Su-35S/M can carry 4 R-37M? and the rest are R-77-1
it can carry 6 R-37M’s, they can fit between the intakes, under the intakes and in the inner wing pylons

I did think maybe 6 I have only seen 4 in images between the engines and 2 on the wings.
Mix of 10 very potent missiles. PL-17 would be the R-37M equivalent.
