i know, just i haven’t seen a pic of it flying with the 77’s and the 27’s would limit the br change from it recieving them
Does anyone here know if the Upgraded SU-33 actually exists? The one with the R-27EM and Su-30SM2-like avionics? I can’t find anything on it but that and the SU-35 are my motivation to start grinding USSR again.
What do you guys think of this?
the only upgrade the Su-33 got was the SVP-24 modernization (better ccip and nav equipment along with L-150 RWR
it got rwr… thats already updated version
i think that if people think the Kh-38MT should be removed because it’s not real enough they’re gonna have a stroke cuz of this
R-27EA existed… at least R-27A did… already better. anyway also cringe almost paper addition
i have seen 1 pic of a R-27EA mockup, the R-27A is straight up vaporware
should be as they are all dummies in the photo.
It is Passive version, i think
Ive already posted/progress of the r-27a program here
mb, didn’t have access to this source
Incoming new thread:
“R-27EA may not actually exist”
:)
I think R-77-1 is fine … There’s really no need for R-27EA/EM …
On the other hand, I think R-27ER could use some better lofting …
I would be surprised if they kept it in service this long, without modifying / modernizing the guidance system and introducing more optimized trajectories / better lofting …
Wasnt it tested with MiG-29M? Would be neat if we had it (MiG-29M) and R-27EA as it only ARH option
R-27ea was never fired only r-27a
Hmm, not good then. Still, would love MiG-29M, or just any MiG at this point
Mig-29 needs some love, so yeah, new Mig when?
They don’t actually care about realism. They’d be throwing a fit about Ostwind II, F-16AJ, and a handful of other things if they did. They’re driven by a mix of anti-CAS and anti-russia mentality, but mostly anti-CAS. Since they 27EA won’t be killing tanks, they won’t care about whether or not the EA is real.
