I don’t know what to say tbh, it follows the g charts except for supersonic speeds where it overperforms, which was already reported dozens of times but the devs refuse to touch the FM’s drag…
Regarding its bfm capabilities, the flanker was always known as the king of 1C between the 4th gen aircraft while being mid at 2C, currently ingame i don’t consider it that op besides some BS ace combat maneuvers that are possible with full controls (but those are present particularly in the canard sukhois), afaik it’s still the worst 4th gen ratefighter so if you force it 2C it should be fine with most aircraft.
R-37 will make it worth (if implemented correctly)

how does it make it feel like a ufo? It still underperforms at low speed, and now, it decently/heavily overperforms at high speed, like a lot of other planes. Besides, until proper modeling of aoa limiters (f-16 being able to pull more than 25 aoa LOL), i think its gonna be fine. Also, the way the flanker wins the dogfight is usually because it can giga rate at around 850 kph instead of playing the one circle which I think it is a weird dynamic, but at least now it can still somewhat dogfight compared to before.

no, because it is not a UFO, it still loses to all 4th gen planes in 1v1 without missiles, ef, f15, f16, rafale, j10, gripen, whether in 1c or 2c
Only the A variants tho, C are killable

From my experience the f15c ingame behaves very similar to the mig-29, it should defeat the flanker 2C but it would lose 1C
I’m personally waiting for them to raise the br of EFT and rafales so i can chill with the su-27 and mig29g at 13.0 while they f*ck themselves at 14.3-14.7 lol
thats also depends on how much the flanker will bleed to get the 1c advantage, it still doesnt recover speed fast enough so there is no point if you end up at 300km/h just to point the nose if the eagle is keeping something like 600 or more, the eagle can just avoid your noose and circle around you, but im not sure, the C doesnt have the upgraded engines so it might struggle to keep some speed, and the E is overall heavier so it will bleed more speed too

I would said its not even that of an UFO compare to the EF. That thing FM its unreal and mine its mostly stock. The Eurofighter shouldn’t fly like that because it don’t have the AMK modification… and then somehow the Rafale beat the Eurofighter in dogfights. The only thing i feel its off its how it race in the Take off. But it could be that people its running too much fuel on their planes. I have see people using Underwing fuel tank on EF and RAFALE.
Also no. TVC flankers should be other kind of monster and the Su-35s its even better than the one with canards. British EF has lost against Indian Su-30mki on WVR fight.
The F-16 is still the best 2c fighter to this day
Beats a Gripen easilly, has miles more thrust.
At the merge it pulls harder than the Typhoon and Rafale.
Hearing alot about AMK…all that inproves is AOA
Typhoon rarely pulls more than 30 degrees AOA in game.
The requirements were for the original typhoon 20-25 degrees AOA.
Typhoon is still underperforming in many areas.
Thrust, still too heavy and missing its accurate supercruise
F-22 has lost to a Typhoon and Rafale in WVR.
You can guarantee like the F-22 it won more than it lost. Su-30 isn’t close to a 22 in WVR.
These maneuvers aren’t possible ingame with the su-27S, canard flanker is another history

They dont in the one circle the Su-27SM can turn harder and has more thrust. Gripen looses energy at an alarming rate.
Add the R-73 and the Gripen struggles go and try it.
Typhoon and Rafale are closer, the 27 still has the edge with instantaneous turn.

again, idk if you are joking or being serious, r73 do 90% of the job for the flanker cause without the r73, the gripen, ef and rafale smokes the su27 9 out of 10 times in any possible way.
