I mean everyone is tired of the US constantly having the best A2A stuff, myself included despite loving F-15s and having the US tech tree grinded out. F-15E with 229s was just a step too far, F-15C was already ridiculously better than everything else.
Still tbh Su-33 without something like an F-18A without amraams feels strange. It’s really a completely pointless addition.
I’m a broken record but Su-27M or even better MiG-29M would solve all the issues of the USSR top tier.
Happy the MiG-29M suggestion is getting some traction again, if in the dev server threads people will make noise since right now USSR is set to be (for the first time) the worst top tier country then it might get passed for real.
Still can’t be mad though, EFT is super cool to be sad lol. Balance is already fucked anyway
We’re not allowed to have the SU-30SM, an actual counter to the PESA carrying Rafale and the new best dogfighting EF-2000. We get the SU-33 that is going to be a heavier SU-27S with two more missiles that are not going to make a difference.
Can’t wait to fight PESA radar with the best FM performance in game with my shitty Su-33 with a radar that should be in a museum, à RWR that is pain in the ass and 48CM
And wise FM performance ofc….
I’m glad typhoon and Rafale are added I love them irl and they are a cool addition although a bit OP I assume…
But USSR a major nation is now a third word country…
I mean i will switch from playing F-15C to playing the EFT. I’ve got very little time to play this year, not going to waste it on boats like Su-34 and 33
I’m just waiting to see how tf the devs will describe the su-33 in the devblogs, what they will say trying to make it interesting enough to bother researching.
Coming in the next update, the Su-27Su-33 is one of the main top-tier jet aircraft that does the update name “Air SuperiorityStorm Warning” justice! Let’s start with its flight characteristics. This aircraft itself is quite large and heavy, but its powerplant, consisting of the powerful Saturn AL-31F engines accelerate the Su-27Su-33 at altitudes to speeds close to 2500 km/h. Combined with an integrated airframe design with a lifting fuselage, this turns the Su-27Su-33 into a true aerial acrobat — it’s not for nothing that maneuverability is rightly considered the calling card of a fighter aircraft!
